Quick Look: A Boy And His Blob

Reminds me a lot of the Maw.   "Maaaawww!"
(yes, I know the Maw was heavily inspired by the original Boy and His Blob)
 
I'm really looking forward to this game, we need more serious puzzle games like this released.  Unfortunately, it's just got a terrible release date, there's so much out around the same time and it's out the same day as Dragon Age, which takes priority for me.
 
Hopefully be able to pick it up after Christmas.

This should be an Endurace Run.

So is there like a war on Blobolonia between white and black blobs or why is the white blob helping a human to kill his own blob-people? Maybe I'm just over thinking this =P

I really hope they'd at least consider XBLA, considering the game size just went up to 2GB.

The "charming" thing will wear off about an hour in.

That visual style is so great.  Looks like they've nailed the sound and visuals without having that whole "I wish this were on a more powerful system" vibe.

I love how towards the end of the QL Vinny's like "Hug him again! Hug him again! Spam the hug button!" 
 
But seriously, that hug animation is unbelievably adorable.

I hope this comes out for PSN, or Live arcade, because I really want to play it, but I have NO intention of buying a wii.

I like this. That kid's voice is perfect, they could have easily fucked that up.

I wonder if that turpentine comment Vinny made was a Demon's Soul reference. The game looks pretty fun, more so than the original anyway. I want to try it.
