Especially if you're playing Battle Royale! Just full-on chaos all the damn time. The team modes, especially the 2v2v2v2 tag mode, are a little easier to manage. MP is definitely the meat of this game though.

The SP is okay, they didn't get too far into it, but there's a decent variety of missions. Some of them you race around in a car, one time I was in a turret, another gives you the rifle with infinite ammo and you just go nuts, plus there's a lot of big boss missions. You do unlock some characters through SP, and some you can get by leveling up in MP. There are also some perks you can unlock by kills 100 dudes in each of the hub worlds in SP.

The game has some rough edges, but it's goofy and fun, and I like the character designs. And the low price point is nice. Plus, the soundtrack is maaaaaaaaaaaaagical.

Wish this was available for download on 360 right now, this looks surprisingly pretty fun.

This will make for a fun TNT, 16 people who don't know much about what's going on coupled with this amount of crazy should be awesome.

In-game menu screen immediately reminded me of Command and Conquer Renegade. Otherwise, not at all.

Hopefully getting this soon.

I've been playing the living poopoo out of this game since it's NA release. No regrets over here! Just a bunch of good times!

Not even close, God Hand is a masterpiece.

This is more on the Mad World (not real good) side of the Platinum catalog.

Did they really not know who Steven Blum was......... really Ryan really. He's in like every damn game out there.

@SonnyCheebah: Since I have not played the game all I can see is that Ryan uses a very basic combo over and over again or in other words he found his "first order optimal strategy" which he was using to destroy everything bar the Resident Evil monster... now again I have not played the game but Ryan seemed to have no knowledge of how to counter that enemy so I guess the game has not introduced him to better skills and tricks at that point.... hence why he died a lot when playing online, the game has not told him 'how' to unlock the hidden depth of the combat thus he sticks to what he knows... which means that people watching it get board because they see the same combo over and over again... (note thats not Ryan's fault its the games for not showing him a better combo or trick)

Haha, oh man, the trucks falling on Ryan was pretty funny. Really should have moved to a different part of the map then ;) Don't feel bad about getting whomped in MP, though. I got messed up a few times before getting the hang of things.

Interesting hearing that the director worked on Power Stone, didn't know that. Makes this make a whole lot more sense.

The guy who does the voice of Spike Spiegel is in almost everything...

incoming comments about how theres is more depth to this game than meets the eye... (if there is, by all means, more power to those people)

also patrick (cause i know youill be reading the comments), this is how you should be in quicklooks, cause i feel you could have easily teared this game apart with the usual " OH its a videogame" type of quips, but you showed restraint, and complimented the game on the stuff that it at least does right,

@patrickklepek I'm pretty sure the game you're thinking of, that was similar to this that was on the Dreamcast, was Heavy Metal: Geomatrix.

I near forgot about this game but this quick look convinced me to buy it. Only cost me £18 which seems worth it

I found Ryan getting destroyed kind of hilarious. It's the perfect example of getting into an online experience that you haven't fully grasped yet. It's so one sided that I can't help but laugh.

Ryan kept fighting BURNOUTT in multiplayer, but never seemed to do any damage. I don't get that. That was frustrating to watch.

Nothing is quite Bayonetta, but this game looks solid. An Powerstone like 4 player beat em up sounds pretty interesting.

uuuuuuuuggghh, after 10 seconds of gameplay i am already sick of this game.

Ugh, seeing Ryan of ALL people playing this is going to be painful. 

This looks mediocre at best. The 30 dollar price point to does help but that can only go so far.

Why do they keep talking about it being downloadable ? I went to check for it on PSN and the only entry there says Disc Only.

How do you miss him? He voices every single enemy NPC in games! Batman Arkham City, Hitman Absolution, and dozens of other games where he's the default enemy NPC voice.

@metalliccookies: This isn't an RPG. You have all the moves available to you from the get-go. It's not the game's fault that he doesn't know how to combo with Jack. Watch any of Ryan's other QL videos that are fighting games. I've played the game. Ryan could've studied up a little before jumping into this (He already played one level before QL'ing this, but evidently didn't do any homework as to how to fight effectively). It also doesn't help that he's blaming the lack of knowledge of how other characters fight for his own lack of skill. There's a controller layout, and you can sort of make your mind up on how to do combos. If you play fighting games, you know that the KEY to them is know what to use and when, and Ryan didn't do any of that.

@Rexicon: You should watch a video of someone who knows how to play this game.

I couldn't help but think through most of this, "Why choose 'Dude with a chainsaw arm' if you aren't going to use his chainsaw arm? Use the chainsaw arm!"

Reminds me of that Fist of the North Star game made by the Dynasty Warrior developer but on way more drugs.

The guys should try to put more effort in understanding a games systems before QLing it; here Ryan didn't even realize he could switch locked targets by flicking until prompted by Patrick.

played multiplayer when i was in London..it was a lot of fun...plus i one..take that Europe!!

@Xel: Exactly. Because of this, I think they've turned people off to a game that's much deeper than what they've shown. They've done a disservice, and now people think this a boring Dynasty Warriors clone.

I really like the music but otherwise this looks not that great. Like really not that great.
