Edit: Seems like a pretty poor GTA clone, just with a monthly fee. Combined with the overly vast range of payment options as explained on the Bombcast, this seems like a poor purchase.

jeff: you had a hat there for a sec bro. also, these AI in this game is terrible. they run from cars but if you are running at them with a shotgun, they dont bat an eyelash. this game looks horrible. also let me get this straight: you have to pay to play an instanced game? this isn't even open world and its pay to play? this is HORRIBLE.

i love phoenix! Game not looking great so far though.

They must really dig Phoenix in APB land.

I actually really enjoy playing this game. Just got to play with people you know.

Doesn't look awful but that driving camera is messing with my head.

I'm reminded of the experience in the beta, man I was a bit disappointed on the decisions they made on, well, everything, and it has promise too and a pretty decent customisation system. But the press F for everything, floaty car controls and bad combat setup makes it all ehhh.
 
Still, fun to watch this quick look.

GET XBOX JOHN MADDEN!

I have been playing this a bit, and I find when you have a good few players online and you are rolling around in a sizeable gang its a lot of fun.

If anyone who had a few friends playing recorded a video it would look a lot more fun.

Nearly 20 minutes in and the highlight of the video so far was Pendulum on the radio. This looks like a bad GTA. Hopefully they'll get in a party and do something a little more interesting, or i don't know if I can keep watching this.

Eesh, doesn't look so great.

Before even watching the video I know that they're going to butcher this game. 
Party up and play smart and you'll have a great time.

Dude, Phoenix playing in the car radios? This game was totally made by the Crackdown guys.

It's sad.  This could have been so great, but it looks like they forgot to put a fun game in their game.

Cheaters

Catching and removing cheaters from the game remains our top priority. Expect further news on this soon.

Vehicle Handling

We're already underway on a major overhaul to vehicle handling to make cars more responsive and less slippy overall. You'll still be able to power slide around corners in stylish fashion, but steering is more responsive overall and easier to get the hang of early on.

Combat

We're looking at almost every aspect of combat - how it looks, feels and sounds, as well as weapon characteristics and tactics. Weapon changes will be put up on the Public Test World to get some feedback in due course.

Matchmaking

We're taking a look at both the way in which player threat is calculated and how mission offers are distributed to players to try and improve the matchmaking experience overall.

Camping

We'll be addressing a number of the worst camping spots in the game in an upcoming patch. We'll be tackling the rest on an ongoing basis.

Missions

Investigations are already under way into ways to make mission objectives more interactive and to try and add a bit more strategy to the actual missions themselves, not just the combat surrounding them.

Rulesets

We're currently looking at adding a 'newbie' ruleset to give players a safe place to learn the game against other new players, and of course we're still progressing work on the 'pure skill' ruleset that was mentioned towards the end of closed beta. The Chaos ruleset hasn't been forgotten about either. "

Also Jeff making that gang sign was amazing.

This game gameplay wise isn't the most amazing thing out there in the world, but it can be fun. Add in friends and teamwork and it's even better.  
 
Even when not in missions, we have plenty of fun doing random things out in the world (even as an Enforcer) with other random players and by ourselves. The game is both a little thin, and full of treasures to discover. 
 
It's just unfortunate that Jeff didn't see what I got to in the game. And even more unfortunate that in front of the loyal GiantBomb community that he's so adamantly relating this to Crimecraft (a piece of shit garbage game).

So...it is basically CrimeCraft.
 
Except there's no stupid crafting and the customization is better.
 
Well that's sure a game that people made.
