I've heard nothing but good things about this game. I guess it's time to play it.

I feel like a bad person for not liking this game at all.

I rather enjoyed BG&E when it came out but I wonder if the gild is off the lily now.  It was a bit simplistic and not super awesome to play.  It was the world and story that was the best part.  Also, the music is great.
 
10 dollars is a good price point, though, and will probably sway me, if only in hopes of getting a sequel.

I'm getting this, not just for the nostalgia trip, but to hopefully help make BG&E 2 become a thing.

I still have my PS2 copy of this. I may play it again, now.

Apparently the HD "remake" is just the PC version ported to the consoles. It's a shame that companies don't put more effort into these remakes. Anyway, I love Beyond Good & Evil. Everything about it is just really really good, except the gameplay which is kind of above average at best. I think the soundtrack, music and voice, stands out the most in the game - it's really well done.
 
I hope this does well enough on both platforms to show Ubisoft that there's enough interest in the franchise so they can put more resources behind the sequel.

If you need a competent Zelda clone, with a better sense of humor, BG&E is a must-play.
 
It also gets surprisingly intense (storywise) near the end of the game.

This is basically just the PC version again, isn't it? I played through the steam version a few months ago and the original X-Box version back in the day and they all look pretty much the same. It's not like they added HDR lighting or something.

Freakin' AWESOME music this game has. I played it for the first time in 2010 on the PC and I LOVED IT! I WANT A SEQUEL NAO!

I loved this game. It was a random ass buy when I had some extra cash on me as it was a game I had never heard of before. Man did I ever luck out. Such a great game which I will be buying!

I really hope this sells well. As someone that never got too far into BG&E, I still respect it and would love to see it brought into the current generation. A new BG&E would be a day one purchase for me.

I was one of the few lucky people that bought this game when it first came out. Oh how I loved it! I am absolutely beside myself at this HD remake. Can't wait to play it again. Thanks for this Quick Look, guys!

The lack of good photography in this QL disappoints me.

Edit: I take it back, there's plenty of good photo takin.

Can't wait to get this.  I got the PC version a while back, but couldn't make it through it with the terrible PC gamepad I had at the time.

I bought it anyway because it seems to be the only way to show Ubisoft we want a Beyond Good & Evil 2.

This was on the Happy Hour, I was having major deja vu seeing this on the main page.

Was expecting the invention from Peyj in the mines to be something slightly inappropriate (like a bacon wrapped enviro mask) though been a long while since I played this on the Ps2.  
 
Game looks good & it's too bad that this game doesn't feature some of the other game wink/nods in the ubisoft universe (like Double Fine with Costume Quest/Stacking) like rayman or rabbids pictures.

Anybody who did not play this game before, you really should nab it. Under-appreciated gem of the previous generation. 

I'm surprised Jeff didn't mention Nadine from Twin Peaks for women-with-eyepatches.

Oh man, I forgot how much I played this gme. Technically would have finished it except the game glitched up a segement that required a key dropped from a boss....and the boss dropped it out of the map.....and the game saved straight after the boss was defeated....and it was one save......yeh...

41 minutes.  So that means they'll make it through the entire game then?

Never played this, at 10 bucks it seems worth it. I was sure it would be 15 bucks.

I thought I was in the "Played it. Loved it. Done with it" camp, but watching this quicklook has me thinking that maybe I would like to play this again.

If I'm not spending money on Physical disc games, I'm spending it on Digital games. Very nice HD remake.

This reminds me to beat the PC version I bought ages ago on a Steam sale.
