Quick Look: Brütal Legend Demo

Man, if there already wasn't enough reason to want the game, now this video comes up? Pretty awesome. I can't wait until the demo gets out, then the game. Looks insanely fun.

I had literally paid zero attention to this game until I saw this quick look. It looks fucking awesome.

Does me not finding this game all that funny make me a bad person? I really think this game is getting more hype than it deserves, and it's because of who's working on it. Maybe that's just me.

Some of the coolest menus I have ever seen that's for sure.

consider this preordered. i don't even like metal and i'm loving this so far.

I can't believe that urban dictionary doesn't have an entry for "Vertical Maw". I'm not sure but Brad and Ryan may have just made a new phrase.

I don't really play God of War type games but Brutal Legend looks to change that for me.

I hate gore. It makes this unwatchable.

I do not have the money to put on another game but.. damnit this looks like fun.

So, just reminding everyone that this demo is really just the tip of the iceberg. Apparently once you're past the tutorial level, it turns into a kind of heavy metal Zelda-like game. Go places, get new powers, fight bosses, etc, but it eventually turns into a semi-RTS kinda deal where you're leading a whole army and fighting large-scale battles.

Awesome stuff, I am looking forward to seeing the demo going to general release as I am not sure if you can get it in the UK as of yet?
 
If I enjoy the demo as much as I enjoyed watching this quick look, I will certainly be getting this game. It may be another supprise game out of nowhere for myself like Bioshock was (I had no interest in that game before the demo and then got it on launch, and I feel Brutal Legends was the same until I saw this quick look kand that swayed me a lot).

Take a look at the torches either side of the shrine at  ~16:00.

Brutal Legend needs to be the new Endurance Run after Persona 4. Fund it. Everyone spread the word.
