Hmm... as soon as the campaign footage started and they held back a huge, multi-helicopter assault with an AK-47 (w/ Red Dot Sight), I became disillusioned.

But I'll probably eventually play it, anyway.

This seems like a strange time to upload this video. Was this livestreamed earlier or something? It's quite late, even on the West Coast.

If you're a fan of modern warfare's story, you might want to avoid the Internet before you play it yourself. Just finished watching it on YouTube (not buying it); t'was very entertaining! ^^

It takes time for videos to upload on YouTube to their full resolution. Had a similar incident occur when I was watching Hamst3r's Dead Space 2 playthrough where I found the link to his most recent upload like 20 minutes after he posted it and it was like 360p as opposed to his normally 720p video footage.

Was that an explosion?

Yep, looks like Call of Duty. Lots of action and same old shooting mechanics. I think I'll stick to Battlefield 3. I just love the feeling of playing in a warzone that BF3 gives more than the tight arcade-like feel to the MW series. Infinity Ward makes high quality titles though.

@Edin899: You clearly have no idea how long it takes to upload videos to youtube then. Especially if they're an hour long. I guarantee you that, much like every other video they have on youtube, it will have a higher resolution than 240p.

Actually, that's just been the quality of GB's Youtube videos. It makes the site look really awesome, let me tell you. Especially compared to those other game websites who have content on YT, who for some reason can upload their videos in HD...

Remember how in Black Ops, Treyarch was kind enough to make it so you couldn't use killstreak items to progress to the next killstreak item?

IW, in their pigheaded refusal to acknowledge anything good that Treyarch does, made it so that, once again, people can stack up killstreaks like crazy with attack choppers and AC-130s.

Fuck you, IW. I enjoy the single player and co-op, but damn if you didn't go out of your way to make the multiplayer hostile to non-pros.

Only 1 thing I completely disagree with.
Having just gotten the game myself, it looks like ass. Seriously the graphics are extremely old at this point and it's very noticable.

What was the name of that movie where there was some sort of aircraft that could be controlled by thoughts but it was Russian so you had to think in Russian?

Ugh... that sound, that horrible grating sound all the guns seem to make. It's been said before but the sound design needs some real work done to it. It sounds like someone shaking some bolts around in a can.

Battlefield 3 till halo 4 at least

There's enough shooters I've been meaning to get to (looking at you Resistance) that I can probably give this one a pass.

There is no such thing as explosive decompression. Watch Mythbusters, they prove that it doesn't happen.

This was a really good campaign I think. In a while here after I take a shower, I'll play it on Veteran. There are a lot of cool parts in its four and a half hour campaign. Yes, four hours; unless you play on Veteran of course. The only problem, though not necessarily a huge problem, is that it's basically, though not entirely, Modern Warfare 2.5. For those that haven't yet played it, I do recommend it.

It is one of if not the best FPS campaign this year, though again, for a first go around, you won't really pay a lot of attention to the story, other than the basics. At least I didn't, so I feel like it's probably going to be a game I'll have to play through again, which that's what I'm going to do in a while. As I ran through it, my brother was sitting there and watching me and explained to me certain stuff, little aspects that I wasn't listening to. More of my problem I guess...

Killstreak stacking is how it's meant to be. That's just how it is.
