@eccentrix: It was in fact originally meant to be pronounced "own", as it originates during the same period of time as leet-speak, in which replacing the letters in a word with the wrong characters while maintaining the same pronunciation and usage was somehow considered cool. People started pronouncing it "pone" later on to mock the usage, but somehow the latter survived and became unironic.

I would have loved to watch them mess about with the custom settings a bit more, 4 player with crazy speed and flipping gravity would be impossible to follow but fun to watch!

I like platformers, but not impossible platformers. I gave up on Meat Boy and N+ fairly quickly. Not sure if this game is just like those, but it looks like it gets pretty tough.

This looks incredibly stupid. Why would you want to play a game that just picks a set of the same 5 or 6 level elements and just pastes them together randomly when there are so many actually well designed platformers out there. Go play Mario instead.

The game looks brutal especially for the multiplayer. The paper-stop motion cutscenes, or CGI or whatever it is, looked cool, but the frame rate looked freaking slow. Is is suppose to be that way?

Bought it. Played it. Wii U version is bad, maps SNES A to jump, can't change it to B. Plus the reset is on the top triggers which are harder to hit. Plus it locked up in the first 2 minutes of playing it. Wii U, huh guys?

I think it's fundamentally flawed since it's trying to make procedural crappy rom hack levels rather than full on platformer levels like, say, Winky's Walkway. When a procedural platformer can make levels as sensible, solid, distinct and well paced as Winky's Walkway then we'll have a game worth playing for more than an hour while doing something else. Oh, also, the best difficulty is that which is deceptively hard. Not actually hard once you just go and don't stop.

I thought the frame rate looked cool, like it was stop-motion, but not the highest production value.

I choose to believe that the developers are just huge fans of Parks and Recreation, and they decided to name their studio after Pawnee, Indiana. "Pwn" as a gaming term is just fucking lame.

That animation would have looked good if it wasn't like 10 frames a second.

I think they were going for stop motion by cutting out every other frame, which just makes it look laggy. Close to be being very cool.

How can you not?

By something else I mean "Listen to something" such as a podcast or a video or something. Many of the games I play fall into multitaskery, very few I let use my ears. Only those who have something to say. Cloudberry Kingdom is a good game in the sense that it has nothing to say and hours of samey levels you could play. Personally I can't stand any more of it after playing for an hour and half total. I think they done fucked up.

Really getting a strong Amiga indie title, downloaded-from-an-algo.net-site-circa-1998 vibe off of this, both from the visuals and the music. Especially when they did that custom mode with full friction, slow falls and that stuff, which was pretty much how all Amiga platformers played. Kinda like it, in an odd way.

The art style makes Raskulls look sophisticated. Wanted to to like this, but looks way too cheap in-terms of difficulty, like a bad Mario ROM hack - at least Super Meat Boy felt different enough and had an endearing style to it.

And poor Brad. You barely have an interesting thing to say when you're on the passenger side of a video, let alone an intelligent thing while playing <3
