Quick Look: Deadliest Warrior: The Game

It doesn't look awful, but it would get boring fast.

I can't wait for DLC content like the Taliban, IRA, Yakuza, The Mob. That could change things up because of automatic firearms.

Well, this game certainly looks terrible.

I think the load times are longer than the fights.

There is no point playing this game or watching the TV show, cause everyone knows that samurai's is the deadliest warrior's ever.

Yeup, 1 star, not 2.  This looks real, real bad.

Really love this game, being so close to death is really exciting, you actually take care in choosing your moves etc

I loved Bushido Blade but this...just doesn't look like it meets the same level.  First off, there' s a health bar, the lack of which I really appreciated in Bushido Blade.  Plus it doesn't seem to have the same level of detail that BB did (Hit their legs to cripple them, or just cut their throat to kill them in one hit).  

YES! do an endurance run of this game

Our simulation shows that the Viking was able to defeat the five layer lasagna in every single encounter.

The game has the Bushido Blade coolness of quick death and gore, but the mechanics suck.
 
The Pirate makes up for a lot of it though.
 
$10 seems fair.

Man I hate the deadliest warrior thing. It's so stupid! A ninja, was an improvised assassin/spy kinda deal who would use unorthodox methods right? Or something, I don't know that much about ninjas. But still. What's the point of dressing in light-weight, dark-coloured clothing, to find yourself in the middle of the day up against a heavily-armoured medieval knight? That defeats the whole purpose of the ninja thing.

As a nitpicking aside, how many different fonts do they want to use in this game?

Deadliest Mouth Warrior made me lol hard. 

What is everyone talking about? this game looks very interesting, the ragdoll looks good. and i dont even watch the show!

The Bleeding ground at the end made this video worth it. hahahahahahaha

well...it looks shitty...but I really want to play it.

Bad games become good when Giant bomb does quick looks on them.

I like something about it, maybe it's the goofy stuff in it like that pirate voice actor or the samurai not being able to take his sword out (giggity).

Awesome to have Jeff & Alex back together, the game wasn't as awesome though
but it has it's moments seemingly if you take nothing about it seriously.

You know what, that looks kinda neat. I think I'm with Alex on that, it's a game I would want to play for an hour, then never touch it again. But I would enjoy that hour. I like the really super high damaging attacks and quick movement. It's... kinda... dare I say... sort of realistic?
 
I don't doubt the replay value is way down there, what with there being no real special moves or anything, though, and the characters definitely seem.. um... tiered, for the lack of a better word.

So that was a pretty good quick look for Waiting For Player: The Game.
Theres two of ya's there, should've just played some local multiplayer.

Those load times and shitty UI make this game look terrible.  I could care less if the fighting felt mediocre as long as it actually worked right.  I like screened but why did you even have Alex if he wasn't going to give ANY specifics about the show?  One of the points of a quick look is to kick knowledge to your audience.  All he did was talk shit for 20 minutes without even explaining why or how the show was so stupid.  Please focus your efforts into bringing us more of the great content on screened because quick looks might not be for you.
