At first glance, I thought that said, "Drop Box Operative." I had visions of a new "Majestic" type game.

Reminds me a little bit of SPAZ with some Civ elements. Sounds pretty awesome

I played the demo and enjoyed it quite a bit. I love anything that reminds me of Escape Velocity.

I don't know if I $20 enjoyed it, though.

I had a lot of fun with the beta. I haven't played much since it went 1.0, but not for lack of wanting to. Super stoked to see it get a gander. Really hope they start adding in different types of missions. When I played, it was mostly fetch and kill X quests.

@Jeff would this be a spiritual successor to Star Control 2? It's been so long since i had last played it and for some reason its all I can think of when seeing this.

gameplay is a lot like frog fractions...did zynga make this game?

I do like it when you show off games which aren't available in the obvious places such as Steam, because they're the games I'd otherwise miss out on. Imagine if we'd never found out about Cook, Serve, Delicious! right?

not sure it's worth $20 for me... maybe if it hits Steam, I'll pick it up during a sale. Looks cool, though.

Yeah had a ton of fun with Vinny for the first week there, but then Ryan and Jeff just come back and try to disrupt what they had going - and they even forgot the Monday. I really hope Jeff and Ryan step it up, for this is a really weak start on their part. In fact I'm surprised Jeff didn't invite Brad instead of Ryan, which is the only thing that would have made this Quick Look more boring.

I like Endless Space. I like Diablo. But for some reason, this game does not appeal to me.

Only good Ron I know of is Ronnie James Dio, not sure about the others esp. since Ron Weasley was fictional. Game itself looks wicked cool & will be getting it soon. Hope it does go to steam soon as it'd be a great fit there.

edit-demo is locked to lvl6 without a time limit (got one of the victory conditions), man the demo will suck you in if you are liking the look of this, 4 hours gone after seeing the quick look. Does seem to have a lot to the game from the time spent on it & as something to dive into every now & again makes it fun but would get weary after a marathon of playing it. So glad for the quick look as Jeff has some good tips in it.

Yeah could be, man. I'll admit I stopped watching after around 30 seconds so perhaps I was quick to judge.

There is ALWAYS money in the Anomaly.

This game looks a little rough around the edges.

While it looks cool, its kind of a hard sell at that price.

Not every video has to be a damn comedic triumph. Sometimes these dudes just want to play games and be informative.

There are not enough games that combine this sort of space exploration with planetside dungeons... Like if you could do this and when you transport down to a planet it's like sci fi Torchlight or XCOM. That would be fantastic.

Star Control/Eve/Civ ?

I used to play a free browser based game which was just like this.

This game looks incredible. It's like Borderspace but with more awesome. I wish I had a better mouse and a better PC for that matter. If there is a robot race then I know not to trust them. No peace for Reapers.

Oh, I wasn't ragging on Jeff and Ryan at all. While it wasn't the funnest quick look ever, it was still informative and showed me a game I would not have otherwise seen.
