Don't know if they discuss it in the video, but the story behind Explodemon/Splosion Man is really interesting. Take a look at the creator's personal blog post on the matter. The two games were announced on the same day. (Splosion Man was revealed only a few hours after the trailer for Explodemon went up). It's kind of a sad tale. Wonder how the product turned out. Guess I'll have to watch the quick look for that.

I always play Metal Man first. As everyone knows, the Metal Blade is the effective weapon. It makes Air Man's stage a lot easier.

Hey thanks for linking that man, it was a great read. It's such a almost shades of prototype and infamous although this is perhaps an even more abstract idea, for two to come along at once is such a strange coincidence. "

Brad, have you truly gone insane? You go for Metal Man first in Megaman 2, his weapon is easily the best in the game, and he is one of the easier bosses to beat with the mega-buster.

I hope it does well too, but this game appears infuriating.  This is what happens when a game is in dev for 6 years, it all seems real easy because you've played it a million times so they keep ratcheting up the difficulty and making timing more important.  I would have rage quit a couple twenty times in those sections Brad and Vinny played.

I've been looking forward to this since it was first announced as a WiiWare title, now I totally missed that it's already out? I'm gonna need to get myself a PSN card!

Really? I think it felt like watching a baby struggle trying to put the circle shape into the square hole. Glad Vinny could save the day a bit, and they managed to make it a pleasant quick look. "

This rivals the horrific art-style of Astropop. Yuch.

You can blow up Green Turrets however, it's only Silver Turrets/Enemies that are unharmed by your Explosion power.

The humour of Explodemon's silly speech patterns seems really forced, and that slow-mo effect when killing dudes is pretty annoying. 
 
Seems like it could be a fun game apart from those.

For my money, Brad does the best QLs.

I don't know if anyone said it already, but by the katakana title it definitely reads "exPLOdemon," not "exploDEmon." (If you romanized it directly it goes "ekusupuro~demon" with a long "o")

Looks very boring. And Brads nonexistant ability of talking and making progress at the same time dosen't really help =/

Also that's gotta be the most shameless ripoff I've seen lately. Duuuuuuude.

This game looks really frustrating.

I was really intrigued when I first heard about this game like last week, but now after seeing it in motion this looks like it's not fun to play at all. Too bad, I think the concept behind it is pretty cool and it's great that it has similarities to Mega Man.

wasn't there A.R.E.S lately? wasn't there the "Help Desk" also called Vortex or something likt that? Clone of a Clone of a Clone...

Think I'll wait for 'Miss Explodemon'.

This game does not translate well to a Quick Look. I can see why so many people here are down on it. It's much better when you play it yourself.
