Actually, the co-op seems decent in this game.
 
It was funny how Ryan had a Freudian Slip and mentioned Portal 2, and then later shot at those lemons and proceeded to make a lemon joke that was NOT Portal 2 related, and Vinny brought up Half Life 2, and then later received a crowbar and proceeded to NOT mention Half Life 2.

This one really came in under the radar, which usually isn't a good sign.

Is it me or is the average duration of these quick looks getting longer?

Edit: Also, do I need to play the second F.E.A.R. to understand this one? I loved the first one, kinda liked Perseus Mandate, never played the second one.

Gotta get your psychic link to level 10.  Paxton will then be resistant to his weakness and he'll sustain a critical blow.

Alright. This doesn't look too bad. But man can you take a lot of bullets on rookie mode. It's almost as if you've got God mode on or something. Ryan is playing the game like serious sam and getting away with it. I know it's the "easy" mode, but no mode in a Fear game should allow you to play like that.

Other than that, it looks..... alright. I guess. I've never played any F.E.A.R games so I'm probably not going to buy this.

This could be a good Co op, it's on my list of things with E that are 3's. 3loqu3nt !

i played fear 1 but this looks like a downgrade

Yeah, FEAR 2 has some significant plot developments. Maybe they recap it in the beginning, but some messed-up stuff happens in FEAR 2.

I'm reading the co-op and multiplayer modes are friggin' awesome, while the campaign is the usual short, linear shooter you've come to expect. F.3.A.R. one of the best multiplayer games of the year? Wouldn't have ever thought it, but it sounds like that's the case.

This looks okay I guess, doesn't seem to even be close to the quality the original fear had though.

I'm not the only one who calls this game F-three-AR even when it isn't spelled like that, right?

I hop3 you can turn off thos3 constant achi3v3m3nt updat3s, th3y'r3 r3ally annoying and don't b3long in a F3AR gam3 at all. F3AR is about cr3ating an atmosph3r3, I don't want to s33 "Crouched: 25/50 times" wh3n I'm crawling through som3 dark tunn3l h3aring w3ird nois3s.

"Batman just knocked you in the fucking face" is up there with some of the funniest things vinny ever said. Ihave a man crush on Vinny, and im damn proud of it

How does Ryan get lost so easy? Looks a cool game overall though.

@PhilipDuck: I have a friend just like this, he can't navigate any levels, always backtracking and going down the wrong path.

The co-op seems pretty cool in the game. And Paxton looks to be pretty powerful.

Everything about F.E.A.R. seems interesting, except I'm too much of a pussy to play it.

I like FEAR1, mostly because the guns sound fucking amazing, FEAR 2 is pretty pants. I mean, THAT ending O_o.

I got this on PC just like I did the other fear games, and at first I thought it was awful. Then I realized by default they had aim assist on. Once I turned it off it felt much better.

I was hoping to see that Run multiplayer mode.  But still looks entertaining.

Might just be me, but I thought we were done with flashlight shooters at this point. Do people actually enjoy only being able to see 1/3 of the screen ?

The framerate looks horrible.

Visually looks pretty awfull, doesn't look much better than the first Fear.

This kills my memories of FEAR 1.  The clinical look, the bullet time, unique sounds and effects (vinnie spoke about). 
 
This just looks like another bad call of duty like homefront.

Loved FEAR and FEAR 2, but this doesn't look particularly great which is a real downer.

Wow, you can't even leave a room in ruble by shooting the walls like in the first.

Only Vinny would try to shoot his own foot.

A game where you can hit zombies with crowbars! Unheard of!

Wow remember when this was like, unique because it was a somewhat well done FPS horror? Boy I'm glad they threw away that shit, because seriously who doesn't want a slightly different modern warfare!?

Looks like just another FPS with some horror segments.

looks cool, but ryan is such a clunky player.. :P
