Wow, haven't really given the past Fight Night games any attention although I love boxing. This looks great, the story mode has me interested. Some of the animations are lame but hey, not a big deal. Will pick this up!

The knockouts are the reason this game pissed me off so much. It's not when your doing worse, it's just out of no where, and once you get a heavy hit, there doesn't seem to be much you can do to react to it, and the other guy never seems to get hit, even when you land a solid power hit. 
 
DAMN, that heavy weight dude looked good. Great looking game.

@MordeaniisChaos: Yeah I played the demo and I got knocked out by Pac man like twice in a row it was ridiculous! It wasn't that extreme in FNR4.But hopefully they fixed it in the full version, if not I know they will patch it in later.They are pretty good with patches.

I dunno man... this game looks great. It's gripping to watch, and the more visceral feel that it has for the fights looks great.
 
Also virtual Jeff  is starting to look more like real Jeff. Good job on EA for their work with that facial thing.

Looks okay, but then i'm not big into boxing. The lengthy corner talk seems a bit dumb, as much as it develops character/story/whatever, isn't the advice just  "Dude, punch that guy." ?

im in. the story seems cliche  as hell, but as they mentioned, well paced and very pretty. ive never been interested in a fight night before but the punches do look quicker and satisfying when those knock down blows are given. also, i know they dont want to hear it, but i have to say that the banter on this quick look made me hanker for another endurance run on a story driven game. sorry vinny and jeff...

Oddly something I'd watch, surprisingly strong campaign setup and pace as they mentioned, makes you wonder how that direction would go in their other sports titles. 
 
On a side note, I just realised EA doesn't really have an actual tennis game....odd.

There are logos on boxing gear because there is boxing gear with logos on it. Your prison gear doesn't.

Something went wrong with their direction after FN3 and I think their animations and physics have been getting worse. I really want stuff like proper glove contact and play that rewards throwing real combos.
