I literally understand nothing about this game. Yet.

Quick Look galore this week, glad to see there isn't an E3 hangover! Lots of awesome content.

Just picked this up the other day. Impulse buy.

That is some quality sprite work.

This is not the Jamestown I learned about in school

The Martians have partnerd up with the Spanish. This quick look shows great promise. 

The screenshots were too crazy to really sell this. Glad there's a Quick Look.

I wish they'd put their talents towards a JRPG rather than a SHMUP. 
 
Edit: LOL. I think I'll just stop and end this Quick Look with "So the Martians have teamed up with the Spanish." That's all I need to know.

Edit: That's not to say that this is bad by any means.  Looks pretty awesome, actually.

For some reason I feel like this would be dumber yet cooler as a JRPG style. You'd have to equip muskets as weapons and petticoats as armor. Also you'd cast spells called 'Liberty', 'Independence', or 'Glory'. If you fill up the Star-Spangled Banner meter then you can call in a bombardment. A missed opportunity.

This game looks really great.

I spent some time in Colonial Jamestown on the East Coast and yeah, it's pretty much like this.

Fantastic concept, completely wasted on a garbage genre. Oh well, at least this game doesn't promote paedophilia.

Seems like a cool retro shooter.

this game is awesome, but really short. if you have a lot of friends over: total recommendation!
