I don't care about the NFL, but I'm glad Giant Bomb is doing this Quick Look.

Madden 11 is a really solid game. I like the improvements in the offensive gameplan. Also, running is worthwhile for once! 

I dont like madden or the sport it is affiliated with.

I have to say that Madden 11 has to be one of the biggest improvements to the franchise possible.  It's not just the same ol' same ol'. 
 
Don't get me wrong.  There are people that are going to bitch about some of the stuff in the game, but over the last three years, Madden has really been building itself into a better game.  Madden 11 feels like the culmination of those efforts. 
 
I also like that they are keeping people informed about pre-order bonuses for EA games, what the latest news is with EA games, etc. 
 
Above that, while some might find things like paying MS points for some Scouting Reports on other players to be a stupid idea, the fact is that the type of people that are playing Madden hardcore...would be into something like that.  It's a damn fine idea.  Hell, people playing WoW are paying $15 a month.  Those who play on Xbox 360 will spend money here and there for gamerpics, themes, and other little tidbits. 
 
For those who play Madden hardcore, this is their hobby.  It's the same as someone who shoots guns, flies kites, races cars, etc.  Therefore, the idea of Ultimate Team cards, Scouting Reports, all kinds of stuff like that...is perfectly viable and one of the most intelligent additions that they've made to Madden 11.  It adds far more depth to that game than there was for a long time.

This is the first year of the last 6 that I won't buy Madden on release day.  Franchise and Superstar modes are unchanged from last year and they were both AWFUL.

I don't get this "American Football". Where's my FIFA 11 QL and my Football Manager QL! And I wanted MNC for this week's TNT.

You guys should do an NHL 11 QL when it comes out. At least that franchise improves from year to year, unlike Madden.

I have no idea about what's going on but I don't like it at all.

God, they make some great products, but on the marketing side EA Sports sucks so much ass.

I was all about the Bucs in Blitz too.  Which is terrible as a Panthers fan, but there you go.

Bad ass soundtrack for this game.

I doubt many non-Steelers fans know who he is, but Stefan Logan playing RB is just silly.  He's 5'6" and like 175lbs.  In reality he's just a return specialist and on rare occasions a receiver.

I love bush.....if you check my drift. 

I like the football and I like playing the football vidjagames, but Madden always irks me the wrong way. I tried the demo, it was OK, so I'll just rent this.
