Quick Look: Madden NFL 11

OOOohhh I really want this game to be the next TNT! Seeing the bomb crew try and play madden games against other people that don't really play madden! 

Great, now you can spend your fake money to buy some other fake money to buy some fake trading cards. This isn't the future we were promised....

I can not believe I am going to watch a 25 minute video about Madden.

As a Football fan, I do admit to buying the occasional Madden/NCAA game, but I think I will skip this one. My personal rule of thumb is to pick up an iteration of the game every 3-4 years, and since I bought Madden 10, I'll peek back into the franchise at 2013. And dang, lots of irrational hate of football in general too.

It's not so much the whole resale/used copy stuff that pisses me off, but that rentals aren't worth crap with this.

Also, I would like to play the next Madden as envisioned by Jeff.  Dancing mini game?  I'm ready for that.

considering the fact that all aspects of sports are drenched in advertising, can you really blame madden for being the same?  I dunno if you've watched soccer lately but those dudes WEAR advertisements.

Does in game advertising bother people that much? I personally don't mind it, thought that add during the online screen seemed like a bit much.

Seems like the game is exactly how I experienced Monday Night Football last time I was in the states. Adverts surrounded by a ball game.

This game SUCKS and the in game ads SUCK....

Meh. As a casual Madden player this still just seems like 2010 to me with a new HUD, gameflow, and a switched control scheme. Granted the online features are probably nice for people who get into that stuff, but not for me. I team up with friends to play a franchise, but that is about it for my multi experience with this game. 
 
Personally I would like to see them start making a Madden every two years and release updates to rosters and features in the between year. 
 
Actually....EA should just give up the monopoly they have on the NFL trademark and let competition enter.

By the way, Alex, Patriots suck.

Why is Madden Ultimate team in the packaged game when with fifa it comes out 6 months later and is paid DLC? is EA ripping us europeans off again?

I'm a little disappointed this Madden doesn't accompany a bet that a rival game will out sell it. Maybe someday Wolfenstein, you'll live up to your potential.

so they had to introduce the Online Pass and at the same time put a shitload of ads everywhere. As a consumer I would like them to choose one of them.
 
i know like no one at GB are hockey fans, but I sure like to see them do a QL on NHL 11 bringing in Alex

I think the Ultimate Team is a great idea, but I hate the idea of microtransactions for shit that's already in the game.

That field looks really bad, not sure if it's just me, or because the video isn't in HD... but man.
