Quick Look: Madden NFL 11

Amazing how Americans are called arrogant when the trolls that spend their time around here are all from across the Atlantic Ocean. Classy.
Anyway, I've been enjoying Madden so far. Plus, it's a way for me to take the Raiders to the Superbowl. muwahahaha

 I was thinking about getting this as I haven't played a madden game since '07, but there is just too much in game advertising for me to put down 60 bucks on this. I don't pay premium prices for a game to have ads shoved in my face the whole time. If it was a low price point, or free then ads are welcome. Marketing sleeze makes me sick.

Alex and Jeff mock rage quit sounds like it should be in a Giant Bomb related YouTube video. It's pretty great.

Remember when you unlocked stuff in games by playing them and not by paying for everything?

I'm the type of guy that buys last year's Madden.  I don't care for Madden multiplayer.  
 
Also, the whole Madden "coins" thing is disgusting.  I can't believe that something that could be essential is now pay to play. 

I GUESS THEY SHOULD CALL IT 'ADDEN'.

This is the first and only Madden I've purchased. I really like it, my question is, have the ad's always been on the menus? or is this new?

Is EA trying to make me averse to buying their product with all the cross promotional Ads? I get enough of that kind of stuff on X-Box Live, I don't need it in my games. 
 
Good thing I wasn't planning on buying Madden anytime soon.

Quicklook justified.

Jeff gave me an idea for Madden '12 in this QL: Kinect support for end zone dances, Kudo at E3 style. Just drop the controller and contort violently after touching down. +1 sale from me if that happens.

 I am a huge fan of football, but I find madden to be an incredibly frustrating gaming experience. Every time I attempt to play it I never last more than 30 minutes. Hopefully this game is indeed better for people like me so that I may get some use out of it when my roommate inevitably buys it like he does every year.

except that outside the US (It's radical thinking but hey), football (soccer) is the biggest sport in the world bar none. It's not a european thing, it's a global one. "

Ugh I really don't like the achievements that you get automatically, like by installing the game or so. 
I feel real cheap when i get those. 
Also I don't like the advertising and the anti-used gametrade. I understand they want more money, but they shouldn't feel entitled to money. People pay what they want. Limiting their options even further to get more money seems kind of awkward. The people should be in power, not the companies.

Is this even a sport? Just a bunch of guys that likes to hug and lay on eachother.  Big NOT LIKE!! buy nhl instead...
