The online pass sucks.
 
The ads don't bug me. Remember, at the beginning of every movie, you generally have to watch advertisements for a bunch of OTHER movies. It's not surprising to see it in video games.

Death by pizza rolls Jeff?  I mean really, it's not like they're hot pockets.  Pizza rolls are entirely respectable. 
  
I feel like I owe EA money for watching this quick look.  Though sadly, I wish part of the Whiskey crew was into college sports, as I have a soft spot for the NCAA games the same way Madden is for most people.  Recruiting is just too much fun.

I commend the GB crew for embracing Madden. While it's not for everyone they know that this is basically WoW to football fanatics. 
 Edit: That's why people are willing to buy it for $60 every year. Way cheaper than WoW. You get more content with WoW but trust me, if you are football fan, you get just as much replay value.

Ultimate team looks like it could be fun, since it still comes down to how good you are at the game. And the 3 on 3 stuff does look cool too since everyone gets their group of players to control. But I'll never buy this.

Erm I think you find it does, Fifa is EA's biggest franchise:

That's just for example. Considering football (soccer) is more popular around the world than American football, I'm pretty sure it would sell more than Madden.

Also I find it funny that this is a sport where there's no skill involved at all, all you gotta be is big and dumb, grab the ball and run like an idiot until someone effin rams you.

So magic the gathering type card game in madden, so where's the cheerleader pool to put on the field to distract the other team (okay any team)? Strange to put that in though it makes sense in a wierd fantasy football way but I'd expect that to be in Blitz or some other smaller footsball game than madden.

Dear god EA.  Most of the new features are just ways of getting more money out of you, and there's ads all over the place.  I guess on the bright side it makes it that much easier for me to decide not to buy a game.  It's so damn greedy it makes me hate the NFL by association.
