I'm totally ok with Zelda clones.

I respect the work that went into this game but it's a bit too shameless for my tastes. I mean there are plenty of action RPGs out there that are similar to Zelda but do their own thing, and do it well enough, to stand out from Zelda's shadow. This doesn't even try to do anything that interesting or different. They didn't even bother to change a lot of the small details, like using hearts for health and having the sword as your main weapon, that they could have, to make it feel a bit unique.

I love Zelda clones so the more the merrier one might even implement better mechanics and stuff since non rarely changes for the better....

@plasticpals: I agree. This looks like a nicely made clone, but that doesn't stop it being a clone - to the point that it seems a bit gross. Also the animation is clearly nowhere near as good as Windwaker and the cube-based terrain looks like it would get very dull after a while.

This looks fun! I don't mind a good clone of a great game/franchise, so long as it's fun to play. Darksiders was a hell of a good time, after all.

I've been playing a lot of 2D Zelda fangames made in Zelda Classic recently, so seeing a 3D Zelda-style game on Steam seemed like a good Zelda-flavored change of pace. I held off on it after hearing it was a mobile port since those things can be iffy even if they look good in trailers, but this video has made me decide that I'll probably pick it up at some point before the sale ends after all since it looks like a solid game and the transition to PC likewise seems to have gone smoothly for it.

This looks fun for those who want more Zelda than is supplied by Nintendo.

I can play this with a normal gamepad, so this is already better than Skyward Sword.

@danryckert Are you talking about Wrestlemania 3? That wasn't Vanna White, it was Joan Heart. Also Bob Uecker was trying to sleep with The Fabulous Moolah, which I found kinda disturbing having seen her in the Attitude era.

The only reason I know any of this right now is because I just rewatched Wrestlemania 3 on WWE Network this past Sunday.

Also, this game looks dope. I think I'll go buy it on Steam.

This looks good but it's also a little ugly. It's got that "iOS Look" to it, and I don't know why ios games look like that 90% of the time.

@sixpin: Vanna White was definitely at a Wrestlemania, I only just watched teh OSWReview episode of that a couple of days ago. I think it was Wrestlemania 4. (They mistakenly kept on calling her Banna)

Mechanically, the game seems fine. However there are things about it that just feels off.

The animations feel really stilted while it visually looks...lifeless? Perhaps not the right word, but something about the aesthetic style just makes it feel cheap.

Music is great though, for obvious reasons.

Wish they would have tried to copy one of the good Zelda games, not the worst one.

FYI, music from Nobuo Uematsu and Kenji Ito is not in the PC version. Maybe it was licensed only for the mobile version.
