Thanks for doing this Jeff. I was curious to see how close it is to PSO. I still play it on the GameCube here and there. Just something about the game makes it uniquely addictive. Hope that translates to PSO2.

Fucking Japanese menu design and UI froze in fucking 2000. It's almost awesome.

I really want this to come out in North America.

Jeff needs to stop screwing around and learn katakana.

If you can read that then you can understand a lot of the menu stuff without knowing a word of actual Japanese.

EDIT: Actually he did know that was a launcher he picked up. Not sure if he read the characters or just recognized the word from earlier.

Oh man, I really hope this comes out as an F2P MMO over here in the states. I'd totally play the shit out of this.

the beta is 24 7 and he recorded this last night around 6 to 10 pm because i saw jeffs character in a game with the same npc characters at the same level in a locked game on the same mission. david letterman was on where i am when the game vanished.

I also ran on PSO with a robit who only shot guns, and I loved it.

After watching the beginning of the second mission all I can think of is that Jeff is a glitching hacking MAG. He should jump off a bridge or hang himself because of it. Nobody will care if he disappears off the face of this Earth. He is a friendless lonely MAG.

Also I really hope that the loot drops are not individual and Jeff has just been running around stealing everyone else's loot and the other players are just like "yep, this is PSO" as Jeff runs away and disconnects.

well i'm interested in this game but unlike jeff i don't feel like putting up with going back and forth between some sort of guide and the game to figure everything out so i'll just wait for them to release it in english.

Aww, really? I kept hearing good things about Fate/Zero Anime but I hadn't checked it out yet. After the Tsukihime anime was such a load I didn't want to be burnt again.

This looks prettty awesome being the "real" second PSO game. Oddly enough the "part 2" one for the DC and GC wasn´t really the second game.

I think I´ll enjoy this one when it gets released if it does. It seems pretty interesting alright. Well, any former PSO player know what I mean anyways... PSO rocked back in the days after all. It wasn´t about graphic but more about story and how you proceeded and made quests.

Btw, that reminds me... anyone stil remember that annoying quest where there´s this USELESS AI you have to protect? Let´s hope THAT never shows up again...D:

Shame it took them this long to realize they've been charging a monthly fee for what has always been a F2P game.

some of the robot animations look kinda cool.
