This is so like Catherine (gameplay wise) which is a damn good thing in my eyes. Its really fun, and challenging as well.

Just so you know Patrick, if you go to a website like Imgur (I haven't tried other image hosts but I know that one works) on the 3DS browser, you can upload images from the SD card directly. You don't have to remove the SD card and put it into your computer whenever you want to get images off it like the QR codes for this game.

This looks like it might be the Picross 3D of the 3DS, the puzzle game you wind up playing more than anything else on the system. That is, until 3D Picross 3D comes out. I'm still hoping they release a 3DS XL, maybe with the second slide pad attached to it.

wow, starting to enjoy my 3ds now. This and mario kart will sustain me during holiday travels this year.

Guys, if you own a 3DS, you should get this game, it's pretty great. It's replaced Picross 3D as my handheld puzzle addiction. The "little dude" is named Mallo, by the way. You know, like a marshmallow! ;)

Really is a shame about that Nintendownload Express derailing into that orphanage. It was a good train. Wasn't the Conductor's defense that the DSIShop music was too soothing?

Patrick moaning about the 3DS/DS touchscreen - this seems like an odd time to do that. The game seems to need the precision of a stylus...

The little dude that you play in the game looks like he has traditional Sumo garb on. So, I think that's where the portmanteau title comes from.

It is madness how simple and gratifying this game is. It hits you right in your 'feel good' brain functions.

Great quicklook. Jeff's explanation of this game on the bombcast made my head spin, but it's surprisingly simple.

The QR picture sharing is also very neat. I'm now a tiny step closer to purchasing a 3DS.

No kidding dude. The music is fantastic and the visuals are really great for what it is. This was definitely a great purchase on my end, except now my girlfriend has taken over the 3DS because of it. Oh well at least I feel less inclined to pay attention to her during my Skyrim sessions.

They aren't kidding about when the game gets tricky too. Really a nice little surprise from this.

does anyone else feel extreme joy hearing Jeff talking about downloadable products on Nintendo platforms

I've been playing tons of this game over the last week or two. It's great and super cheap for all the content (and great graphics). Buy it.
