Quick Look: Road Show: Toy Story 3

I am so confused. I feel broken and twisted. Every single gaming brain cell in my body is telling me that its a game for a movie. Its going to suck. Yet. Yet it looks like so much fun.  It makes me feel all giddy on how fun this could be. I don't know what to think any more.

I don't know how Ryan can be soo enthuised for a boring run-of-the-mill movie tie-in game.

This is what I wanted so badly in the Lego games.  This is good too.

I don't know why but I'm getting surprisingly excited about this game.

This game actually looks like a nice fun platformer. Good on you pixar if you can make your games half as good as your movies i would be happy. 
 
 Very few good platformers come out especially for the 360.

Is it wrong that a huge part of me wants to play this game... so many childhood memories!

I'll be honest, this looks like the most decent movie-tie in to me.

Looks kind of cool but really easy.

Finally, a return to great Disney games. It's been ages since games like The Lion King and Alden ruled the SNES. And it's for a movie tie in game no less. Here's hoping they keep em coming. I hope their sandbox mode gets copied into a lot of games in the near future, I would love that level of customization and variety in a GTA or Saints Row style of a game.
 
Also, great interview. Ryan and the guy doing it seemed genuinely enthusiastic about the game. Weird seeing Ryan not mad or annoyed at brad or something. Who knew he was into Toy Story.

this will be great for the kiddies. it's a sort of primer for 12 year-olds that will be totally ready for GTA5 when it hits in 2 years and they are 14. It's all a conspiracy. Toy Story Sandbox is the gateway drug to violent gaming!

seems like they put some good stuff in this game.

I thought the game looked promising before, but I can see this mode getting very dull. I hope there is more to it than what I just saw. I'd probably get it for my little brother though.

I feel like the GB guys went to see the TS3 game just so they could get to visit Pixar. :P

Loved toy story 2, was a good game.

Surprised this game doesn't look horrible, looks some one fun with a lot of time spent in the game.

I don't see why this game is getting such attention by the game press.  It's like a dumbed-down Viva Pinata for kids with a bunch of lame Pixar crap.
 
Maybe if the content was something other than Pixar, like Micronauts.

These guys made Just Cause 2... WANT (i.e. it may be janky but there looks to be a hell of a lot of charm and personality to this game)

This game looks surprisingly fun, in a charming sort of way.

Well not really, the framerate is deplorable. In the days of Mario Galaxies, games with cartoon elements should not be running at such a slow framerate.
 
But this game looks incredible, and I can't believe Giantbomb found a way to get inside the Pixar lair!

A astronaut  is the sheriff of a western town, makes sense.
