Would have been nice to see the customization options and the store stuff, but oh well.
 
But man, those Stride ads should just be in the world, not appear when you 'influence' the world.
 
But then again, like all revolutionary stuff nowadays, everything gets marketed to hell.

the actual gameplay here was legitimately painful to watch. i hope it feels better than it looks.

If the skate. series has taught you anything, it's that product placement is the cornerstone of modern skateboarding...

I love Frosties! My wife and I always treat ourselves to one if it's been a busy day.

With no real tony hawk games anymore and The SKATE series being not my  cup of tea, I am looking forward to this game. I like the less simulation nature of it. I one of those who actually liked the later tony hawks. (proving ground, project 8 and the like) Though Ride can erased from existence for all I care.

I think the ending is the butler is working with the cold-hearted government to unconform the city so it can be reconformed when people get sick of Stride and Wendy's.

This actually looks pretty good! And by that I mean it looks horribly awful.

the steer-able rails look cool and could make for some very interesting 3D platforming levels.  In fact, ditch all the skate stuff and just make the platformer!

Man, Shaun White has lent his name to some heinous shit and it's not improving over the years it seems.

Best part about this game? Wanna Be in L.A. by Eagles of Death Metal. That's about it.

So it's like Prince of Persia but with skateboarding, hamburgers and gum? 
 
Also, Ryan Davis is the greatest Shaun White Skateboarding player ever.

I'm sad to see that the making your own grinding path was bullshit and that they do it for you most of the time.

I'm not much a skateboarding fan, but I thought this looked pretty intriguing.  Sure, the product placement is painful, but the mechanics look pretty solid.

Incredibly funny QL! The balance of showing the game and commenting in an entertaining way was spot on.
I really like some of the conceptual stuff with influencing the rails and parts of the visuals (reminded me of the Sabotuer somehow...) and some of the music, but the game seems all over the place. Skating mechanics looked mediocre as did the cutscenes and characters - but there's some potential I guess... I don't see the good ideas being fully realized in this game though.

If people are wondeirng what that song Jeff was talking about beign great, it's "The Mexican" by Babe Ruth.

This actually looks really cool, but your character seems to be going way too slow. I something like this were in skate. though...

yeah... that stride business is pretty crazy but the mind rails stuff looks neat.
