It really bugged me for some reason that the Wendy's logo was bright red even when the area around it was all grey and de-influenced. 
 
Also: Why would Ryan Davis of all people make his character such look like such a douche?

this looks pretty fantastic. I have been waiting for a good fantasy "extreme" sports game since ssx3.

I don't see the contradiction. You're not fighting the big companies, you're fighting a fascist goverment that tries to control everyone/everything (including advertisement). Makes perfect sense to me.

Francisco looks like Russel Brand. So fuck that. 
 
This game looks bad. It looks like a great idea that was nerfed a lot along the way

So it's basically Da Blob on wheels. It has a few hitches, but it's certainly a lot more interesting than any of the other skateboarding games to come out in the last few (several?) years.

Now that's pure, sleaze-ridden irony.

I... don't... I'm not sure how I feel about this game! The concept is really cool. Some of the thematic juxtaposition is kinda painful. The whole "it's not a skating game" thing and the mission-style objectives (get from here to here by hopping these rails, destroy these objects in the environment, now chase that guy) strongly reminds me of Jet Set Radio Future...
 
Except where JSRF was fast and furious, this looks really sluggish... Maybe it's like in THPS where you start out sucky and get better, and at the end of the game your top speed is four times of what it was when you started? I hope so, because if not, this just looks boring. Boring, but interesting...?

This looks like the slowest moving skateboard game ever.
 
Also, sidebar: That Stride Gum stuff was hilarious.

Skateboarding will be punishable by death. Or by incarceration. Or by a slap on the wrist. We don't know yet.

Is this really the PS3 version?! Looks like a slightly upscaled Wii title!

Really liked watching this. Gives off a really smooth, casual vibe. Brought back nostalgia for when I used to play the Tony Hawk games on the PS1.

I was interested in the concept of bending the world to your skating whim, but the world and the characters in it are a businessman's idea of what skateboarding is and, as Jeff said, totally undermines the whole premise of the game.
 
Also those load screens were cringeworthy. I don't agree with Ryan about their humour content.

I'm gonna go ahead and stride past this game.

I did not have any interest in this game leading up to its release.  However, I would like to let Ubisoft know that I am  in no way ever buying this product, as a statement of my disapproval and disgust towards their efforts to melt my brain.

This honestly looks like a Wii title.

This game looks pretty nice. 
The 'Skate' series was too difficult to handle for me. This looks easier to control and less sim like.

No chewing allowed...lordy. This game is terrible.

The awful advertising and irony of the entire game is so stupid that I actually want to play this game now. Fight the Man to restore the influence of Wendy's and Stride Gum.

Please never let ryan play a quick look again. 5 minutes straight of trying to get from one ramp to the other.

This is a crazy ugly PS3 game, I can't believe they think this is acceptable graphics for a game in 2010!

I don't get why that song went into the theme of for a few dollars more

Whatever man, Stride gum is the shit.

The early advertising stuff left me a little Frosty but I felt that by the end of the quick look the game hit its Stride.

Maybe it's just that Ryan is just really bad at this game, but this game seems really slow for a skating game.
