Was kinda interested but many things but the name Sonic put me off... also its cart racing..also it's new sega maybe a rental?

Bought this on a whim and I must say it was $50 well spent.

This game looks actually pretty sick, yo. I dug Sega Superstars Tennis a ton as well. Apparently Sega is good at taking well-established franchises, ripping them off and inserting fan service up the wazoo. They should do more of that. I'd like to play a Sega Superstars Golf  or Sonic's All Star Baseball one day.

All these Dreamcast characters... why do Sega act like the 16-bit era never occurred? Where's my god damn Streets of Rage 4?

PLEASE don't judge the gameplay by this QL. 
 
No offence to Jeff, but he sucks hard at this and was playing it all wrong. The game is based around boosting, something you can and should achieve every time you drift, but it seemed Jeff was simply tapping the drift button instead of holding it. On top of that, you can also boost by performing tricks every time you're in the air, which Jeff also missed on doing. One of the best parts of this game is its sense of speed, which is completely lost in this QL because of Jeff's newbness.

 Jiggy Rain... The sequel to Heavy Rain.. I'm calling it!

Now all I can imagine is a Sony racer, between Ratchet, Kratos, Sackboy, and Nathan Drake.

Having played a chunk of it, have to admit its surprisingly a very good kart racer. Annoyingly the PC version has no online multiplayer of any sort.

I had to laugh when Jeff use that Giant Missle and didn't notice you had to detonate it.

Look ok

Samba de Amigo level was a bit surprising.
It looks like a competent Mario Kart clone.
 
The lack of Starlight zone music is a bit disappointing.
The fact that Big the Cat is a racer is very disappointing.

holy shit thats a ton of chars and tracks to buy, i love stuff like that...the game is also cheaper than most games here in europe, might get this!

For the PS3 why not Welkin or Alicia from Valkyria Chronicles? That was an exclusive and made by sega, it makes sense.

Good game, just wish there was some Daytona USA tracks.

I remember back around the time of the original Metal Gear Solid, I used to imagine a kart racing game with snake and all the bosses in it. 
 
That would still be pretty dope.

Zobio and Zobiko are the main characters in a House of the Dead parody/spin-off that was released last year in Japan and focuses on a love story between the two zombies. Although it's still hella light gun shooter. That's probably why Brad and Jeff had no idea what that game is.  
 
Also House of the Dead is banned in Germany and that is why they refer to the series as Curien Mansion in this game.

I'm kinda surprised at the lack of Toejam and Earl. Also, who else remembers Chakan: The Forever Man?

They should have put Bayonetta in this

Total opposite for me, ModNation looks pretty bland compared to this.   The environments in MN are so boring, This game has so much stuff going on in the background and the power ups seem awesome. After the Blur and Sonic QL i have lost all interest in ModNation. "

Not drifting enough!

I'm sure someone already said this, but the producer of the game said they were only going to make one version of the game released across all territories. So they changed the name of "House of the Dead" to "Curien Mansion" because House of the Dead is banned in Germany!
 
Edit: Also, theres no All Star Moves online. Kind of a bummer, isnt it?
