Quick Look: Sunset Overdrive: The Mystery of the Mooil Rig

When I try to think of either game's name I just come up with Velvet Overdrive. Kind of bummer that there's not actually a game called that.

I now know more about Dan's balls than I do about Firewatch.

Brad is still Brad at videogames.

I really enjoyed this Quick Look but watching Brad literally run around in circles ignoring every objective marker to only realize he's going the wrong way half a minute later was god damned infuriating. If you can't keep the talk up while playing then don't talk, just play.

That sounds like a game about elderly people who suffer from Sundowners Syndrome. Could be hilarious and/or deeply depressing... GOTY?

That egg mission was way longer than it should have been.

Pretty disappointing that Brad only uses the first two guns you get in the game and without any of the more interesting amps. Also how do you NOT equip the announcer for a quick look.

Yeah, I found watching the game quite boring until the testicular horror stories showed up.

Woah, weird, you're using the male player. Never saw that version do cutscenes and such. Sounds like he has a lot less charm than the female player.

Eh, it's just a generic-sounding surf music 12 bar arrangement. And they are out over the ocean at sunset, so I think it fits enough.

Oh boy, vasectomies. I had one done. When they say to stay off your feet for 48 hours, minimum, boy do they fucking mean it. I forgot how good this game looks. Love the way those green explody guys explode. Looks so perfect. Still won't buy an Xbone.

edit: I've never hear of getting "racked." Grew up in a small town. I usually just said, "fuck, my balls!"

I've never seen Sunset until this and my god the characters are too cringe worthy for me

Dan and Brad have such a weirdly cool dynamic.

Somehow completely missed this & the new stuff on DLC/content for this, thanks to seeing this quick look a bit later than expected, think it's time to go dive back into this game (and knowing me probably replay it) though stuck on the way the hero turned out for my game.

Also agreed that if they do more games like this, I'll definitely check it out.
