If you want an easy goregasm...you need to upgrade and use the shotgun. Large reticule makes for easy combos.

WET did grindhouse 200% better. Just sayin'. Soundtrack was better too :D

I remember playing the original HotD games in the arcade and on my Dreamcast. Not sure I would ever want to revisit them now, or any lightgun game. With that said, I'm sure zombie shooting felt way more satisfying in those games than this one. These guys die like they're not even zombies.

Patrick seemed to have fun spending most of the video extensively repeating the stuff that Ryan already said.

I am actually really excited about. The Wii version is one of the most underrated in its catalogue so a HD version sounds great to me.

I love the self censorship feature.That was a great touch by the developers.

I enjoy Patrick in QL's, but boy, was he annoying here.

You can rack up some hot Goregasm action with the shotgun.

Hobo With a Shotgun was an awful movie. Just plain old bad and boring... and not in a funny way.

Two things:

- Headshots in this are one hit kills, so there's no need to blast away if you use an accurate weapon and aim well.

- The Director's Cut mode was in the Wii version aswell and is a "new game+" type thing as a reward for finishing it. The "Extended Cut" refers to brand new levels, not the Director's Cut mode.

Awesome to see such enthusiasm for this game though, it's certainly a bit of a hidden (from most people anyway) gem.

New GOTY category: best loading screen.

Edit: Why do people not like Patrick? He's been such a great asset to this site. Great articles and another enjoyable personality.

This looks... strangely awesome. I'm not into light gun games often.

It means their intentions weren't "pure". Because, you know, everything in this game and about this game should be taken SUPER SERIOUS (sorry, I can't do written reverb.)

Not true, you don't need to be 'constantly dumping', it's an arcade game and you're meant to play for score, ie. chain headshots without missing. If you're not goregasming you're doing it wrong.

I absolutely love the original (japanese) House of the Dead games... This however, looks total garbage.

Damn. I almost wanted to buy this game after watching this one. ...Wow.

That game looked like it was running super fast. Is it possible all the animations and effects were written with the lower framerate of the Wii in mind and porting it over just runs way faster?

I love the presentation. If I ever get Move I'll have to pick this up on the cheap. I could always use more dumb fun games to play when people come over.

The shooting looks fine but damn, the cutscenes are so different than the original. Stiff movements and the camera angle is poor. The cutscenes on the Wii version was a lot better. What a letdown.

I think the increase in Klepek related material is almost a "fuck you" to the seemingly growing amount of people who don't like him. 

You know what would have made this so much better? 
The ability to "bleep" out any word you want.
