This game is so old it makes me sad to see it still played.. like 400 years later, people will STILL buy it, when it's beyond antiquated, I wont even touch this game anymore for fear of turning into a dust bunny.

I would have said, maybe we are too hard on Brad, but god damn, hearing him on the last two bombcasts before this, you would think he had played this game through and through and would not have struggled so much.  Jesus Christ man.

I remember all  this and I have it on virtual console already, but I don't know if I wanna go back.  It seems a lot better in my memories and I really don't want to ruin it :(

Ok Im sorry, but I giggled to myself at the beginning of this video when he brags about beating it 3 or 4 times and had every skulltulla, then the other dude saying "thats alot of zelda". I dont think Im alone on this one saying NO, that isnt a lot of zelda. Add a few zeros onto that for me. My masterfile on my n64 cartridge has everything obtainable, and only 2 deaths. Step your Zelda game up Giantbomb.

Twilight Princess was good, but it had some weird pacing issues IMO. Items were useless outside of their respective dungeons, bosses were pushovers, and there wasn't much to see/do off of the critical path.

This is given the reverence it receives for a reason.

Oh man I love this game so much! I may have to buy a 3DS just to play this. They did such a great job updating the visuals.

But man, I ain't feeling this. I love Oot, and I'll definitely vouch for how revolutionary it was. But this is literally about the 4th or 5th time Nintendo's rereleased it. Granted, this isn't a re-issue; it's technically a remake. But besides the character models, a MUCH better framerate and cleaned up textures, it only looks "eh". Like a game caught between really good Dreamcast title and really early PS2 one. It doesn't look like a proper, "Check out what the 3DS can do!" kinda game - just look at the disparity between OoT 3D and MGS3D or Resident Evil Revelations. It's sic. 
 
It's a great game, but it's gonna take more than a port of OoT to get me to care about the 3DS. Or rather, care enough to buy one. I'd rather see a new one built with this tech (although I would dig a Majora's Mask remake, to be honest. But it would have to bump up the visual quality)

it looks like in addition to the visuals they updated the scale of the world too. I wonder how that affects the timer quests..

...and this is supposed to be the game which gets me to buy a 3DS? As someone who never played the original, this looks very, very boring.

Watching Brad try to figure out how to hold down that switch without Ruto, and Vinny telling him about the Crate, and Brad constantly running past that pair of crates and destroying them nearly killed me. 
 
But it did finally kill me when at 30:44 Brad destroyed the crates for a 4th time and then said "I  think we're missing something...".

If I am to buy a 3DS in the foreseeable future, this and Snake Eater would be my must-have titles.

Skulltula is pronounced like Skull-Chulla. It's a combonation of the word skull with tarantula. Just saying...

holy crap that frustrated the shit out of me watching them smash the boxes over and over.. zeldas nice beause its methodical.. if theres rooms that you havent been to yet and you dont know where to go next go to those rooms... jeepers.. also it was kinda frustrating cus i could see the dang map why couldnt they.. anywyas love quick looks fun as heck to watch.. this looks sweet ive been wanting to play this game again since beating windwaker again just recently and this looks like it might be the platform to do it on.. a majoras mask 3DS would probably kick ass. loved that game.. i would like it if the would re-release ocarina and majoras mask for the next wii u console and redo the graphics like microsoft is doing for their first halo game..
