Quick Look: The Saboteur

Are you supposed to pronounce the "Saboteur" part of the title the French way? The way Jeff and Ryan pronounce it sounds so odd...

Ah Jasus his accent is grand, ta be sure ta be sure.  We all soond like tha' har in O'reland.

"BLOODY HE......." *falls to death* I beleive his last words will be remembered as "bloody hell" . This game looks kind of, well, maybe fun, but, unpolished and a little too over the top. I mean, nazi-occupied Paris right?   I don't like that a game with that in it also has an incredibly badly-done stereotypical Irishman with a bad accent too, in an indiana jones role with very twitchy gameplay and bad aiming. Had this had more polish, been slightly less rough around the edges and been a little more respectful to the subject matter (even if the gameplay is unrealistic) it could've been better....

Those were some realistic looking fake boobs, well realistic real boobs not real fake boobs, as most games have fake looking boobs that look like fake real boobs, I'd much rather have a game with fake boobs that look like realistic real boobs..... BOOBS!

Disappointing.. it looked like a really good game.. if only they had polished it some more =/

While this game doesn't look bad, this doesn't make me want to play it. Not ready for another open world game.

Looks like something I might enjoy, probably pick it up next year.

Is Sean voiced by Robin Atkin Downes? If yes, I'm happy he got another big role, since he's a talented dude.

That was a pretty good takedown using the rifle as a baseball bat. Heh. That climbing sequence at the end was pretty sweet too. Looks like an okay game, but not without its problems. I don't know, I might check it out later.

I dunno, this looks more appealing to me than the GTA games, as far as open world games go. Which, to be fair, is not a genre I am terribly big on.  Infamous is, thus far, the only one I've liked.
 
but I'm willing to give a try.  It looks more promising, for my tastes, than GTA by far.

I said this in the Quick-look Ex but I'll say it again: what's the point of going to the effort of making war-time Paris look really realistic and then have your game be the complete opposite? Even the boobs are ridiculous; they didn't have silicone then!

I am now seriously interested in this game, as opposed to passively interested.

in the saboteur, the are many activities like beating your meat 

I have started playing this game and it's really fun. It's basically Assasin's creed and gta put together. Or something like that.

That was a great ending to the quick look. I was holding my breath wondering if he will be able to make it to the rooftop.

So they ripped the radar from Grand Theft Auto IV and changed the color to yellow. Hm.

My heart skipped when you turned nudity off.. thank goodness you came to your senses.

Just as I thought,  Ryan loves to beat the meat.

doesn't look too great, but for some reason that doesn't stop me from wanting it. but i'd still rather use my $60 on another of the big releases next year i think, like maybe bayonetta.

Great Quick Look, guys! Definitely gonna rent this on Gamefly. I only hope to know that I will know what Sean will say when he falls. The mystery will unfold.

I was thinking of getting this for my birthday, but now I think I'll ask for something else.   

It just seems kind of clunky. You've got to admire the effort Pandemic put in, but it just seems inferior to games with similar mechanics such as GTA IV or Assassin's Creed II.   
 
The theme of the game in WWII Paris is interesting, but the shortcomings of execution aren't enough to win me over. Only if I really wanted another Nazi-killing game would I get this.  
 
I appreciate that everyone in this game is a stereotype - the Nazis, the Resistance and of course, Sean so that wasn't what put me off. 
 
@MagikGimp: I didn't notice anything with the boobs which implied they were silicone. Maybe I wasn't paying as much attention to them as you though. :P

looks like it has issues, but also looks really fun :)

I like the visual style and setting of this game but gameplay wise just seems like an unrefined hybrid of asscreed and gta.
