I have the 'First' quest so I don't go for it myself, but I still love viewing the first few comments before they get edited.

This Quick Look was AMAZING. I LOVE it when the guys have to figure out what they're doing AS they're playing! The final battle against the Robeast was hilarious.

Oh, and a multiplayer game where you form one thing that TOTALLY works? Aegis Wing, for XBLA. It's FREE too - some sort of student project officially sanctioned by Microsoft or something. It is terrific. You guys should QL that, even though it's a few years old by now!

So this is Voltron. I've always heard it referenced in pop culture, but never actually seen it.

As for series that reuses transformation sequence footage in every episode, there are still a lot of those. Everything from Digimon and Power Rangers/Super Sentai to magical girl series. My favorite one will always be the first Sailor Moon sequence.

Most users type something short to attempt to get the quest then edit it into something more related to the video, and whenever I'm bored I like to quote those first comments before they change 'em.

It seems Jeff and Brad were enjoying the game cause this video seemed a bit longer than it should have been.

Gotta admit I got a little excited right when they started the Voltron sequence, but then they starting playing as Voltron.

So much crazy shit they could have done with the premise of controlling different parts of Voltron.

It's not a bad game for something being sold directly through stuff like PSN. My only gripe is the Voltron sections themselves. Trying to get the attacks to work is damned impossible at times, it's usually better to just defend the whole time, because you get some counterattacks in when you defend.

This is one of the best quick looks ever. I don't know why; maybe its the "awesome" clips from the show.

The yellow projectiles are backwards.

Man, the videos, the music, too bad the gameplay ruins it.

And I remember having to collect all five lions individually when I was a child. If you wanted Voltron, you needed five separate toys. Red Lion was my first so it will always hold a special place in my heart. Of course, I also lost his head at some point since the heads shot off pretty fast and could launch a good twenty feet with the right angle and height.

I used to love this series when I was a kid, so I'm happy this even exists!

Jeff couldn't decide whether he liked it not, Brad mildly seemed to disagree when he was negative, but neither really wanted to like it. I thinks it all has something to do with suppressed childhood fantasies.

Fuck yeah Voltron! I loved Voltron when I was a kid. The toys were cool as hell because you could form a large Voltron robot with the individual lions.

Voltron was like Power Rangers without all the "Saved by the Bell" type bullshit in it.

Like Journey to Jaburo, this seems to be a crazy affectionate treatment of the source material, without actually being a particularly good game.

Which is cool.

I like that the video clips are in the desert and the gameplay in grassy areas.

does this game remind anyone else of renegade ops?
