I am so far from excited for this, there is only one good HD thing in recent years and thats Shadow of the Colossus.

Never cared much for the first ZOE, but The 2nd Runner is just fantastic!

Man, they are right, next generation Zone of the Enders would look freakin' awesome.

i haven't watched this yet. does it look like the framerate in ZOE2 holds up?

I only know about this game series because of the MGS2 demo. I bought it just for that. I didn't like it at all.

I can't stand the protagonist in ZOE 1, but ZOE 2 is all around awesome. Also, robot boners.

The only game that truly embraces the cockpit.

ADA is awesome. I really liked the first game and seeing people completely dismiss it in favor of The 2nd Runner makes me sad. Leo was treated kinda like Raiden later.

The music in these games were phenomenal.

I was super into Gundam Wing when ZoE came out and it blew my mind. I would have killed for a Gundam Wing game with ZoE combat. There really is nothing like it.

The 2nd Runner's story is actually pretty decent.

Never played these having discovered MGS late, but thought about checking this out. Love the style of Kojima's games.

Another Century's Episode

The action is not as tight, but it's in the same genre with plenty of Gundams to go around.

I can't wait to see how broken this game will be on Vita.

God ZOE2 was so damn good. So many memorable moments.

Man Patrick and Ryan were kind of harsh! I played both games for the first time two or three years ago and was pretty well blown away. I will mention the first game has a very unique ending and is only 6-8 hours long.

There's literally no excuse why PS2 games can't run at a constant 60 frames per second in 2012.

Seems like the PS3 doesn't perform nearly as terrible as people were clamoring for. Good thing the collector's set is coming in today for me.

Does the 360 version refer to Xbox button prompts? Considering that the game uses the old actors? I'm quite curious about that...

never played the first ZOE but 2nd Runner might be one of my favorite PS2 games... thinking about picking this up just for that.

I really enjoyed Second Runner despite its very short length. The production quality and presentation was just about unmatched on the PS2 at the time.

I know that Zone of the Enders is a fast moving game with lots of particle effects etc, but man, the HD video quality just seems to be terrible here these days.

The premium download is somewhat better than YouTube, but not by much really. Has anyone else been feeling that they've not been getting their money's worth from the download quality these days?

I don't know if the problem is just low bitrate or the encoder they're using. It certainly seems like they get live stuff up a lot quicker than they used to, so I wonder if it's the encoder that has changed.

And other than the odd trailer, nothing seems to be 60fps any more, the Giant Bomb content is all 30fps now.

I feel ya, I download most of the QLs for gifs and notice the quality of encoding isn't quite there.

If you want 60 fps stuff, go check out Gamersyde. They almost always request for 60fps trailers from the publisher.

maybe, but asking konami to put a lot of money, into something that probably won't sell very well, is probably asking too much. Im guessing this is put out, just to get a sense of how high a priority ZOE 3 should be, coming next gen.

The story and writing in both zone of the enders is either god awful or poorly translated. The voice acting is just as bad as well. I like anime but this is no neon genesis evangelion, of which most of ZoE1's concepts are ripped from.

Edit: Also leo is a terrible terrible shinji.
