Guys, the R option just makes your shots move faster. It's not auto fire.

Remember when Patrick tried to replace Spelunky (after he beat it) with Risk or Rain co-op with Alex, and then they beat it on the first episode? I'm glad that did not happen again. But next time, next time is the run.

This a very cool feature. I could definitely go for some Streets of Rage action.

If they ever put two attempts into the same video, will it be called "this is the runs"?

@steevl: @yellownumber5: I don't think it's either of those things. It's really apparent from 2:46 -3:26. It's a super high-pitched squeak that doesn't sound like anything the NES would normally produce. It ranomdly goes away and comes back throughout the video.

It's possible that it could be a squeaky button on one of their controllers.

Thanks for the time stamps. I notice the squeaking now. I've tried paying attention to when they are pressing buttons. It sure matches, but it's not consistent. It also seems too loud to be button squeaks for what those mics would pick up. I do think it might be something else caused by the vibration of button pressing. I was thinking a squeaky office chair or mic stands, but I'm betting most it's the desk they are playing on. The reason the sound is so loud is that it is traveling up through the mic stand. I would still think I would see more shaking in their shoulders to match the sound, but it might not take much to make a sound that travels well through solid surfaces like the desk and stand.

One thing is for sure: I don't think I could unhear that squeaking in any new streams.

Edit: It's the monitor stand! I've heard that squeak before. I've noticed right at the end when Dan died and Vinny was still playing it was matching Vinny's motion. He has the monitor right in front of him. @vinny

Episode 1 was super chill and carefree. Episode 2: they're screaming, planning things out and stressing out. Episode 3 will end with Vinny strangling Dan.
