One of Sonic the Hedgehog's sidekicks. She is a pink hedgehog who was first introduced to the series on September 23, 1993. She was not created by the Sonic team.
Beat is the main protagonist of the Jet Set Radio franchise and is one of the three main mascots of the series, alongside Gum and Professor K. He is a Rudie from Tokyo-To and the original founder of The GGs who ran away from home to pursue his gangster lifestyle. Outside of his respective franchise, Beat has appeared in several video games and promotional material.
A supporting character from the Sonic the Hedgehog games, Big the Cat is laid-back, friendly, and somewhat dim. Throughout the series he often ends up on a quest to recover his companion Froggy.
Chaos, the Keeper of the Chao, is a villian in Sonic Adventure. Brainwashed by Dr. Eggman to collect Chaos emeralds, it soon turns rogue and collects the emeralds for itself. He appears as a playable multiplayer character in Sonic Adventure 2 as "Chaos Zero".
Dr. Robotnik and Maria Robotnik's grandfather. He created Shadow the Hedgehog and the Space Colony ARK.
Dr. Robotnik, also known as Dr. Eggman, is the antagonist in nearly every Sonic the Hedgehog title.
The Dreamcast is a Sega-console released in the 1990s and was discontinued in the early 2000s. It has since made appearances and references in several Sega-related video games to date, including Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed and Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania.
The EggRobo is one of the badniks featured in Sonic & Knuckles which appears on the Sky Sanctuary Zone. During the Knuckles play through one survives the destruction of the Death Egg and serves as the boss at end of each level.
Gum is the deuteragonist and one of the main mascots of the Jet Set Radio video games who is an original founder of the GGs. She is a sarcastic, uptight, and upbeat graffiti gangster who enjoys skating through Tokyo-To without care. Unlike the other characters from the franchise, Gum has had a lot of appearances outside her respected franchise since her debut in 2000. Because of her popularity, Gum is often mistaken as the lead character of the Jet Set Radio series.
Jackle is a character from NiGHTS into Dreams. He is the boss of Soft Museum.
Made his first appearance in Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and is now a mainstay in the franchise. He also enjoys a friendly rivalry with Sonic and rapping about the places he visits.
Maria Robotnik is the granddaughter of Gerald Robotnik. After she was found to have a terminal illness, Gerald began searching for a cure, only for Maria to be shot when G.U.N. raided the Space Colony Ark.
Metal Sonic is a robotic Sonic created by Dr. Robotnik and has appeared in various Sonic games and spin-offs.
NiGHTS is a flying, jester-like Nightmaren who betrayed Wizeman, the ruler of Nightmare, in order to live in liberty with the Nightopians. It befriends and dualizes (fuses) with all Nightopia visitors to diminish Wizeman's control of the dream world.

Opa-Opa is a living, egg-shaped spaceship and the protagonist of the Fantasy Zone saga. With courage, determination, and the ability to upgrade himself, Opa-Opa ventures into the Fantasy Zone and fights to liberate it from evil.
As Wizeman's most faithful servant, Reala is considered to be the leader of the Nightmaren force. Cruelty, brutality and cleverness are some of the qualities to help him in his rivalry with NiGHTS.
Rouge is a professional treasure hunter and part time spy for the government first introduced in Sonic Adventure 2.
Shadow is an artificially created Hedgehog who never ages. He is able to warp time and space with the use of chaos emeralds and is known as "the ultimate life form" in the Sonic universe. He has the same abilities as Sonic the Hedgehog.
Sonic the Hedgehog is one of the world's most famous video game characters and the mascot of Sega Enterprises Ltd. Sonic was introduced on June 23 1991 with the launch of Sonic the Hedgehog for the Sega Genesis. His super speed makes him one of the fastest fictional characters.
Miles "Tails" Prower is Sonic the Hedgehog's two-tailed sidekick who was first introduced in Sonic the Hedgehog 2.
Tikal is a female echidna, said to have come from the same tribe as Knuckles. She first appeared in "Sonic Adventure".
