Probably Imperial Agent, I think Sith Warrior and bounty hunter are the dominate class, though who knows, just play something you'll have fun with.

The problem is is that I'm going to play everything eventually, because I enjoy playing them all, so I'm just trying to figure out where to start. I may go agent or inquisitor though. I'll see what feels good between those two when I'm sitting at the character creator.

It was 25 mins for me at one point, though I saw people saying it was up to an hour for some of them.

I expect it will get steadily heavier. Lag has been awful at certain points, even with very few people populating.

Weird, I haven't been lagging at all. At 40-80 ms and 50-70 FPS the majority of the time.

@CL60: I can't rule out that it might be my connection going spotty during the wee hours of the morning, but I can tell you the game doesn't cope well, whatever the cause. The two worst examples were in a party with the same dude: his toon was stuck talking to an NPC for about 45 seconds, so I used a vendor, then when I saw his next chat he was suddenly 300 yards away waiting for me. Other thing was his droid companion ended up being disabled during combat, but the disabled state stuck for me; so as we ran, about every 10 yards his droid would pop in beside him in its motionless death pose, even though it had full health and was audibly participating in combat! This lasted for about 2-3 minutes until it finally corrected. :)

My connection has known to be spotty sometimes, and I'm performing fine. Rumor has it that the shadows are giving some people trouble, but I haven't experienced anything.

No, haven't heard anything. All we've got are the 2 PVE ones right now. I do plan on doing PVP though. I just don't really enjoy playing on PVP servers in MMOs.

Weird. Got 20 hours on my /played and i've never lagged and never went above 90 ms.

Had tons of fun tonight doing the first Flashpoint, Black Talon, with a few guildies. Here's the final Jedi boss in the instance...it was pretty easy with four of us. The boss introduced some basic positioning and timing mechanics, looking forward to seeing what higher level content looks like. Just got into crafting and got my Inquisitor to level 12.
