Star Wars: The Old Republic is a massively-multiplayer role-playing game set 300 years after the events of BioWare's Knights of the Old Republic series, but still approximately 3,600 years before the events of the films.
Could be a place holder, could be fake? I wouldn't call it confirmed. It is alright looking, though. I'd love to be optimistic though and hope this means the San Diego Comic Con is bringing us some Pre-Order information.
@Metal_Mills: More worried about the early access, while that's not a rare thing for an mmo I really have little will to play a story driven mmo waiting in line to kill a duder with the rest of the galaxy. Yeah, okay they got instanced areas and stuff, but not all of it.
@weeman105: She's supposed to be a descendant of Bastila--they have the same last name--and possibly Revan as well.
Anyways, liking the cover art--it's definitely Star Wars. I've been really psyched for this game since its release, and have been on a Star Wars binge recently. Glad to see release stuff popping up.
@Red: That's awesome news. I had no idea. I'm not sure how they would work with Revan though since there was a choice as to how that character ended up. Did they ever settle on a canonical ending?
If this game can scratch my KotOR itch I will be elated. And here I was promising myself to never touch an mmo again ...

I think the canonical ending was the light side ending, and he possibly may have turned back to the dark side later, but I'm not sure.
Also, I believe that girl that is a descendant of Bastila is voiced by Jennifer Hale. So they will even sound the same!

The canonical ending was the light side ending, yes. Revan is in SWTOR. As it is - a lot of people are upset on things dealing with him. It's heavily spoilerish to say more. But suffice it to say, as a former KotOR player.... I was disappointed on how things were handled with him in SWTOR. This won't prevent me from buying the game.. but I cringe nonetheless when I think upon it.

We aren't even sure if it's actually Revan in SWTOR. It could just as easily be the leader of the Revanites or whatever they're called and he wears Revans stuff.
@CL60: I understood that yes the light side ending was cannon and after that he went somewhere to fight some unknown threat , or something... KOTOR 2 was weird. We will know all in the Reven noovel written by the main writer of KOTOR, Revan in November and probably the closest thing plot wise to KOTOR 3.
