kbd here to tell you the good and the bad of Super Mario Bros. 3 in as few words as possible. ;)
The good:
+ a decent challenge
+ fun powerups
+ robust platforming elements
The bad:
- lacks a typical 'save/load game' system
- music can be repetitive
- short single player mode
- some small graphical glitches
- visuals haven't aged very well
So here we have a game that the Guinness Book of World Records proudly proclaims to be the best selling game of all time. You have no idea how hard it is to review this game without simply acknowledging that this is indeed Super Mario 3, slap a 5/5 on it and call it a day.
