Looks like a giant expansion for Super Mario Galaxy (obviously), and that isn't a bad thing. Though I can't see it getting the same critical praise the original got simply because apparently sequels are bad.

Every time I hear Yoshi, I feel all warm and cozy inside.

I just want a Wii for all these great exclusives. I need to make more money.

This looks so fucking cool. King of platformers. Brilliant design. Makes me want to buy a Wii so I can play through the first one again in anticipation.

Looks really great. The similarity to the first game does put a bit of a dampener on the excitement. Absolutely getting it though.

I love the original, and the trailer makes the second looks many times better. More Galaxy equals a happier me.

This is an incredible interesting move. My guess, Nintendo knows that they can sell their games when ever they want and make a ton of money on it. So they are getting out of the way so that third party publisher can have the best opportunity to sell their games during the holiday season. Unless of course they are trying to make room for the next Zelda game, which they mentioned that they want to have out by the end of the year. Either way, Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Metroid Other M before summer, F*** YEAH!!!!!!!

I just cam in my pants.  This will easily be my favorite Wii game of the year.

The graphics and character/monster designs are fantastic. Really colourful and crazy. Makes me wish soo much that Nintendo would just turn into a full-time game developer and release these games everywhere because they have always made incredible games.

It's gunna be rough stopping to play this after Super Street Fighter IV is released, but I kinda have to.  It's probably gunna be so badass.  Yoshi and the Drill look awesome!

More Mario Galaxy? That sounds alright. I enjoyed the first one when it came out 2 years ago.

I wish it didn't have Yoshi in it. Actually I don't think I'll buy this, even though the first one is IMMENSE!
 
You can really tell this one's made up of all the ideas they took out of the first one cos they were too crazy or weird.
It's like some insane fan mod or something.

Nintendo fail when it comes to promotion, there should be a selection HQ pics all over the place...

Pretty sure they have a FTP setup for the press with art assets and stuff, outlets are just too busy playing or writing their impressions to post them I guess? I've seen the high res versions of the Metroid pics around, and some that aren't in the product page too.

You say awesome, I say weird. There's a level where you infinitely wall slide whenever you jump.

I get the feeling that I'm going to be playing a lot of Wii this summer.

This is an incredible year for Nintendo. I mean, it's probably their best year ever. Galaxy 2 looks great, Other M looks great......... but what I really want to see is the new Zelda. E3 can't come soon enough. 
 
At least we have all of these great games to tide us over until E3 comes.

First thing that I though when seeing those screenshots was Donkey Kong. The jungle setting and the "aztecy" ruins really remind me of Donkey Kong Country.

Oh boy! A return to Isle Delfino! Yay! In fact, it looks like much of the levels play tribute to a lot of classic Mario stuff. And that drill item looks totally cool. While I'm a pretty open hater of the first Super Mario Galaxy (I don't really hate it, I just think it's the worst 3D Mario), I'm now totally excited about Super Mario Galaxy 2. Okay, it is settled. Time for me to dust off my Wii.
