    hmm... I don't know Mario GaLaxy was great, but how much of an improvment will this be from the first?
    There were some new mechanics, AND YOSHI; who is awesome...but i don't know
    I gues more of Mario can never be a bad thing lol

    Mario Galaxy was a game that made me SMILE while I played. This looks like it'll deliver on more of that!

    Looks like the same game, but now you can ride Yoshi.  Sounds pretty good to me, Galaxy was a really good game.

    90% levels are new, 10% are rehashes with new objectives and challenges. That bodes very well imo. From Kotaku's Miyamoto chat.

    jeff said in a tweet an hour or so ago that this game is alot of stuff that was cut out of the 1st super mario galaxy, and it will use remixed versions of old levels.

    Never played sunshine, but i heard there was a cameo in 64. It's great to get actually have him playable in the game.

    Miyamoto considers the original to be conservative in terms of it's design, this will not be.

    They're pulling a SMW2: Yoshi's Island here which is fine with me.  Another Galaxy game sounds great, but this just was too much Mario for even me to handle.

    I just noticed how the pointer is now used for gameplay purposes other then shooting star bit. Looks like it is what you use to aim Yoshi's tongue.

    You know what would've been cool? If they kept the engine, but used filters to aim for the pastell look of Yoshi's Island.
    SMG was outstanding and over much too soon, but somehow I cannot completely get excited for this one, even if Miyamoto says that this is the more ambitious and experimenting of the two.

    I'd have welcomed a different "feel".

    Or maybe they can give you a rocket and you get water-level controls (with the shell) but in space!
