Dude! I got Super Smashed Last Night.

Okay okay, I can admit that I am addicted to Super Smash Bros. Brawl on the Nintendo Wii. I played for about six hours straight yesterday trying my hardest to unlock Sonic the Hedgehog…no luck though. It’s okay, I can just play The Subspace Emissary portion of the game which plays like a side scroller with appearance from all the characters in Brawl, and unlock all the characters in the game that way. I actually haven’t tried out all of the playable characters yet because I kind of just stuck to my usual guys which include DK, Pikachu and Mario, original I know, but I really want Sonic, just seeing that blue hedgehog running back and fourth the screen bring weird shivers down my spine. So am I going to review Brawl? yes, am I going to write about every character’s move list? no, I am going to say a few things about the hype and love for these Nintendo’s franchises? yes. So, with all that said, behold the review!
Why do people love Mario and Sonic, or Donkey Kong and Samus? People love these characters because it’s simple; we grew up with these characters. Most adults who play video games now once played Super Mario Bros. or Donkey Kong and remembered those experiences because they were such a intrical part of our lives. Playing in your room trying to get high scores on DK or looking forward to seeing Mario’s next adventure was important to us, as important as our first kiss or our first time we turned on a car and started driving. In my life, Super Nintendo and Sega were just part of my everyday life, I remember coming home from school, putting my backpack down grabbing a cola and playing Mario until dinner was done, then doing some homework, then coming back to Mario. Life without these franchises would be stale and it makes us what we are- gamers.

Best in series?, yes but expected a bit more 0

Apart from all the things already said by many of the reviewers out, this game just rocks.Nintendo threw in some new characters, yes Snake is in the game as well as Sonic but I hoped more new characters were introduced not in the form of clones that is. Not satisfied by the roster Nintendo launched with the game different modes, Master Pieces being one of them. In the master piece part of the game it will let you try out a few of the games available from Nintendo via the shop, although the maste...

Brawl really leaves nothing unfinished, almost no feature omitted 0

I've been playing video games for almost as long as I can remember. As of this review, I've beaten 572 and played many more. Perhaps one of my favorite games so far is Super Smash Bros. Brawl. OK, it's only in the top 3, but that's still quite a statement. But why do I love this game so much? Brawl attempts something different when it comes to fighters. Rather than depleting your sole opponent's life bar with arcane button and joystick sequences which fire fireballs from your hands , you bash yo...
