The fifth installment in Bethesda's Elder Scrolls franchise is set in the eponymous province of Skyrim, where the ancient threat of dragons, led by the sinister Alduin, is rising again to threaten all mortal races. Only the player, as the prophesied hero the Dovahkiin, can save the world from destruction.
Saw this on another forum. Glad to see that they're actually in the game. Also, sorry if this has been posted before, but it's the first I've seen of it.
Lifts-Her-Tail: Certainly not, kind sir! I am here but to clean your chambers.
Crantius Colto: Is that all you have come here for, little one? My chambers?
Lifts-Her-Tail: I have no idea what it is you imply, master. I am but a poor Argonian maid.
Crantius Colto: So you are, my dumpling. And a good one at that. Such strong legs and shapely tail.
Lifts-Her-Tail: You embarrass me, sir!
Crantius Colto: Fear not. You are safe here with me.
Lifts-Her-Tail: I must finish my cleaning, sir. The mistress will have my head if I do not!
Crantius Colto: Cleaning, eh? I have something for you. Here, polish my spear.
Lifts-Her-Tail: But it is huge! It could take me all night!
Crantius Colto: Plenty of time, my sweet. Plenty of time.

Anyway, they don't look as good as I thought it would. Shame considering how it's my go-to race for every TES title. I'll think I'll wait for some more screenshots before making and passing judgements though.
Kick ass. I like it. Still looks like an Argonian, but the details really make it. Curious to what the male will look like! Torn between this and Khajiit for my first character.... they both look pretty kick ass.
Never really been a fan of the non-human/non-elf races in the Elder Scrolls game and this doesn't appear to be any exception. I can handle the Khajiit to some extent but there has always been something super cheesy and unappealing about a human with scales and a raptor head (essentially). Still, it looks good graphically, that's for sure.
This take on the Argonians is really neat, I enjoy it quite a bit, they seem a tad bit more badass. I wont play one, but they will be nicer to look at then they were in oblivion.
In Oblivion the stats and traits for Argonians versus the other races made them kind of a useless race unless you wanted to swim a lot or go the illusion route when it came to magic.
Very cool. I love the fact that she has both a quiver on her back and a sword sheathed on her hip.
Game Informer posted a new Khajiit screenshot. The beast characters are looking pretty good. I'm still going Orc, but at least the NPC Argonians and Khajiit won't look like dweebs.
Really liking the designs of the races so far. I felt like in Oblivion everything that wasn't human looked like someone in makeup for a bad horror movie.
All these new pics look great, but I wish the beast races had claws. :(
I'm satisfied with the Argonians, though. Will probably try my hand at a Khajiit character as well...hell, maybe even an Orc, and a Bosmer after seeing their pictures!
Hopefully Argonians will have a half decent special ability this time. Water Breathing and Poison Immunity, while nice and all, can be replicated by spells.
I went Argonian always in past games, but that Khajiit looks pretty sexy. I might have try that out. What was the unique ability that Khajiit's have always had(Along the lines of Argonians breathing underwater) in the series?
Night eye was a natural win for thieves and sneaky types, and eye of fear came in handy a few times when a shop keep came downstairs in the middle of the night - before he could finish pitching a fit, he was running witless into the night.
