    Even Ghosts have setbacks. 4

Tom Clancy Ghost Recon games should be synonymous with the phrase “There is no I in team”, because that’s what the tactical squad, third person shooter series is all about: teamwork. Ubisoft has taken this phrase to a higher level with “Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier” for the Xbox 360 and PS3.As the name suggests, Future Soldier is all about combining tactical military combat with the most advanced technological gadgets known to mankind. In reaction to an enemy's bomb killing off some ...

    Future So Bleak 0

While I, personally, have never had a significant investment in the Ghost Recon franchise, there are many people that have. The earlier games in the franchise gained significant fame and love from critics and normal folk alike due to its unique and tense stealth action sequences. That praise arguably piqued with the release of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter. Its name wasn’t the only thing was ridiculously long as so was the games lifespan. The engaging multiplayer and sheer beauty ...

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Review 0

After its gutting and rework post-horrible E3 preview in 2010, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier has been released and stands proudly as the next title in the popular Ubisoft franchise. The game plants you in the middle of yet another clichéd rogue-nuke crisis as a member of the elite Ghost squad, a Special Forces branch of the U.S. Navy. Armed with prototype equipment including active camouflage, your squad of four is sent around the world to chase down arms dealers and ultranationalists and discover...

A More action-oriented entry, albeit an enjoyable one. 0

There once beckoned a time where games required the player to utilize strategy, preparation, and resourcefulness over the quick thinking, instant reflexes, and mindless action of today's shooters. Ghost Recon was once the poster child of that style of gameplay and it excelled in providing that incredibly tactical gameplay that so many gamers begged for instead of the casual shooters that overrun the industry of today. The latest entry into Ghost Recon has unfortunately strayed off the beaten pat...

I want to like it 0

I played the crap out of GRAW2 and this does it justice but I think if this game was released a couple years ago it really would have been considered a much better game. Don't get me wrong I enjoy it but if you are looking for a time sync this game is not it. The multiplayer is a lot of fun but is plagued constantly with servers troubles and terrible amounts of lag....

Ghost Recon's bombastic shift falters in its execution 0

Apart from a few handheld titles and a Wii game, the last time the Ghost Reconfranchise hit consoles in full force was 2007’s Advanced Warfighter 2. Since then we’ve seen three Modern Warfare games change the landscape of the modern military shooter market, shifting the focus to over-the-top set pieces, ridiculous action and a hefty multiplayer component that engulfs all in its way. It seems the only way to compete with the crowd is to follow it, and so Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier s...

    I'll pass 0

I'm not going to knock this game too hard. Though I am going to state that I just don't like it. I do like FPS games, I really do. In fact I'm currently playing Battlefield 3 nightly. Here's the thing, I was offered Beta testing for this game prior release. I was not really a fan of character movement & in general game play. I think if you are going to play a FPS game, choose your side of either MW3 or BF3.I know it might sound generic to some to just suggest the 2 most popular FPS games at t...
