They release a full-priced game based on a fucking mini-game and don't even feature all the characters in the series? Since this is Capcom, they'll probably release the other characters as DLCs...

@punisherkaos: You know they're gonna do the whole dramatic reveal of the remaining characters trailer thing..... Some dude will be scratching his ass the whole time through out the trailer then at the end while his hand goes up slowly to sniff you'll see that it's Leon!!!!!!!

It looks like a stand alone game so I doubt they would only have 4 characters, I'm interested to see what they do with this game. If I end up getting the 3DS then this game as well as the others are looking good, if I don't get it then these games suck. :p It really just comes down to money and if I will have it at launch.

The graphical fidelity looks close to the level of the 360. Then I look at Kid Icarus... What the hell? They're leagues apart! I don't know, but I'm pretty suspicious of this.

Taking just the Mercenaries portion of RE5 and porting it to 3DS is a cool idea, though. Forgetting that it's the best part of the game on console anyway, it nicely fits the pick-up-and-play ethos of a portable system.

I love Mercenaries, it's probably the only reason why I still play Resident Evil 5.

But they really need to just put every Mercs character from 4, 5, and Mercs Reunion into this game.

Mercenaries was a great mini game, played it to death. Great idea to work out a new game on that idea. But I really don't see the point on bringing it on a handheld. Console and PC would have been the real deal.
Maybe a full fleged Mercenaries game with story and many options to choose in single/multiplayer modes.
Ah well, time will tell.
