It's like a mix of inFamous and Gears of War, but also it's own originality. Some light Dead Space vibe as well. All good things as far as I'm concerned.

This game looks so cool. I love the powers, I love the presentation... my only real concern is balancing. If the powers aren't somehow restricted (and they aren't as far as I can tell), the enemies are going to have to be really quick, intelligent and hard-hitting, or the combat is going to get old very fast.

I hope they put out a demo before release.

Seems like a neat concept, but all the environments shown here are either too generic or too wacky for me to care about using these powers in them. Also, can we please stop using Inception knock offs? It was overplayed a year ago.

Because it some point it has to also be a game you can play. Besides, you never shoot bullets straight up in a game and expect them to fall back down on you.

This is the first I'm hearing about this game, but it seems cool. The thought that it looks like a combination of inFamous and Gears of War seems like a good one. It also makes me want to play it.

If history is any thing to go by, here are my predictions for this game.

-game will solely based around the gravity gimmick

-AI will be terrible

-Levels will be linear and everything is scripted

-character will be a gruff voiced resistance fighter who's trying to liberate his people or protect his family

-movement in non gravity will be restricted to a linear path

-game will be about 4-6 hours in length

-there will be a power levelling system where you earn points to upgrade your skills you unlock

-game will try and leave itself open for a sequel that will never happen

-there will be a tacked on 6v6 multiplayer mode on maps based off of levels in the campaign

-the multiplayer will have p2p matchmaking

-the only interesting thing about the multiplayer will be use of the gravity mechanic

-the multiplayer will be dead 2 weeks after release despite pre-release marketing explaining how awesome it is

-there will be random collectables throughout the game that will unlock concept art

-sales will be poor, metacritic rating after all reviews will be 65-70

Mark my words.

@bcjohnnie: I love how they talk each other in reference to features that "everyone has been asking about!" I've never even heard of this game. Perhaps marketing should have made people aware of it first, before assuming everyone has been wide eyed with interest.

Good point, seems like the low gravity and high gravity stuff would muck with your aim. I doubt they're going to be doing much kinetic weapon simulation in this game, though.

They said when you're first starting out you'll have two or three shots of low gravity. It seems like there'll be upgrades later to increase how much you can use your skills.

When you throw dudes in the air it reminds me of Bulletstorm. That zero gravity place was the coolest also the shifting stuff is pretty cool. Isn't FilthyRich a fighting game dude? doesn't he commentate? maybe it's a different FIlthyRich

Cool mechanic, but you can't base a whole game on it. If anything it should be an addtion to everything else... a game changer for the 3rd act. But no. It looks like everything is going to be based on this mechanic.

It will end up like Fracture; where you mostly end up annoyed at the limitations of it and everything else that is lacking.

Fun fact, Fracture was so forgetable, it took me a few minutes to look up the name of it.

Side note. I can't help thinking of Enders Game looking a that shooting and nagivation in Zero G and wondering why they have to be on the same plane, other than it makes the controls easier. It makes fighting harder surely...

The intro BWAAAWWWHHHH should of been a massive clue.... But i didn't clock it until they started talking 'Vector Shifts'.... The entire concept of this game is built around that one zero-G scene from Inception.... Right!
