Yes, CliffyB invented chainsaws for Gears of War (November 9, 2006) and retroactively put them into Dead Rising (August 8, 2006).
 
Also, before CliffyB, trees were felled by hand and axe.

This is a great trailer but it's like 2 or 3 months old.  Oh well, it's still freaking awesome seeing a motorcycle with chainsaws attached to it.
