Seen this already, a well.

I want this game!

That is fucking racist.

own this game, its pretty damn cool.  controls are as wonky as everyone says but the novelty of the core experience outshines that blemish.  Hopefully this will all be fixed in a (hopefully) sequel...

I really wanted to pick this game up but people on the forums made me re-consider. I've read some complaints about the puzzles and about the controls being just bad.
 
Oh well, I've heard there's a playground on the home screen where you can spawn whatever. I might still pick up Scribblenauts for that. I haven't bought a new DS game since New Super Mario Bros.

This game would of been near perfect were it not for the awful controls.
No amount of charm or originality can make up for completely broken controls..

Other than the controls, the game is worth it, the puzzles are fun, and the main screen s great too.

This would have been excellent if the controls weren't so awkard. I would say its still worth playing for the novelty.

That narrator's voice is corny.

The controls are clunky but not broken.  I'll bet that most, not all, of the people that say so have not even played the game.

The Eurogamer review made it sound like the game had some serious issues. Too bad for such an amazing concept.

 Please let us have timeline control over the ads like Gametrailers.com does.  I have seen that ODST ad on here like 75 times now, I should be allowed to skip it after a bit eh?

i love this game, the controles can be a little hard to use but that shouldnt take away the fact that this is a amazing puzzle game.    you can solve puzzles in many different ways which you get scored on.   a must buy for DS puzzle  fans anyway.

This is the first game that's got me interested in buying a DS.  Not interested enough to actually buy one though.  I'm going to sit back and hope it comes to either the iPhone or Zune.

The reviews and comments saying the controls are broken almost made me completely avoid this game. I'm so glad I didn't. Although the controls can be awkward at times, the satisfaction you get out of solving puzzles in almost any way you can imagine makes up for it tenfold. The home screen playground is worth the price of admission alone.   
 
This is definitely one of the most imaginative and ambitious games ever made. It definitely gets more things right than it gets wrong. Peter Molyneaux and his balls should take note.     

Try writing, stripper or hooker.

The stylus controls of this game completely ruined it for me. I couldn't even get past the first world before giving it to a friend. Dig the rooster hat, though.

It was actually a pretty good game, but the controls got in my way some.

Guess the unexpected popularity led this game to recieve a marketing push by it's publisher.

This game looks rad!!

I've got no problem with video advertisements... But is it really necessary to stick an advertisement before this specific video? Y'know, considering this is essentially an ad in and of itself.

Cool advert. But while the concept of this game and the huge word dictionary are great, it was disappointing to find out from the Giant Bombcast that the game suffers from broken controls, poor object interactivity and bad physics. I've been put off of Scribblenauts quite a bit by this.
