 Ahh, it seems they are aiming to fix the one thing SHIV was lacking. The Human Element. It always seemed like you were very much alone in the last time.
 
Silent Hunter series is so perfect, from its ability to scale down to the perfect difficulty, to the great open ended campaign. Too bad some of the regular missions are kind of boring and repeating. Lets see if they improve on that!

@Johnny5: I'd like some multiplayer coop-focus going on, played SH IV a bit with a few friends and it was a supercool experience sitting in your subs and ambushing convoys.

I would LOVE to see some one make a super realistic sim game like this, only set on a star ship like the Enterprise from Star Trek, a Star Destroyer from Star Wars, or even their own setting.

While I was one of the few who didn't read it as "Silent Hill V," I do think having a horror game on a submarine would be pretty cool.  Similar to a horror game on a space ship, but slightly more real and easier to place yourself in, therefore scarier.

Issue: Submarines are tiny, it would be very hard to put several hours worth of levels in such a small area. But yea, that would be cool.

@HatKing: Probably the closest you may get to that is Cold Fear on the PS2. Took place on a boat primarily and it would rock with the waves throwing your aim off. You had to grab a railing to help steady your aim.

Imagine if they did a Quick Look on a game like this or another sub sim like Dangerous Waters.

It would be like the ArmA II Quick Look all over again :D
