The thing that is bothering me the most is the title. It's kinda lame. Scratch that. It's very lame. The word spec and the word ops in a title never goes well.

The take on moral choices could turn out to be very interesting and I like the physics. Other than that, it looks and sounds pretty standard

the character is named after Joseph Conrad. He wrote the book Heart of Darkness. Apacolypse Now by Francis Ford Coppola is an adaptation of Heart of Darkness. That is where the name comes from. This game was partly inspired by both.

Holy fuck! It's Greg motherfucking Kasavin!! OH MY FU-- Okay enough of that. 
 
I was In a sorta grey area with this game before, but now I'm looking forward to it very much. What the fuck is with the title though? Spec Ops: The Line... I can understand Spec Ops, cause they're special forces, but The Line? What line? As in front... Line? This hurts my brains.

I really wanna check this out now, if just for the Apocalypse Now parallels. It looks good enough, and moral choices that are more than just black & white are at least a bit intriguing.

Like everyone else, I'm digging the Spec Ops: Heart of Darkness variation on the usual FPS stories. This definitely piqued my previously non-existent interest. Hopefully the morality system in the game manages to go beyond the good/evil theme and really dig into the survival or existential aspects of such situations.
