I don't have any experience with the previous games in this franchise, but this one looks alright.

something about the voice over and the complete disconnect between the horrible things going on in the video just made this way more off-putting then I assume they meant it to be. I foresee this game being HUGE with parent groups...

This looks really cool. I love the marketing timeline for this game. It's coming out in a few months and they are showing the game when it's not entirely incomplete so we can get a more realistic idea of the gameplay. I hope they make some HUD changes, I don't really like that much info on the bottom even if the holo-ammo display looks cool.

I don't know, still reminds me of Human Revolution. Though it's not necessarily a bad thing, since I love that game. Even that character at the end of the video reminds me of Yelena Fedorova, with the dual sub-machine guns and the weird haircut..

Looks like it could be fun.

I like the part where A.I in combat hasnt evolved since 1998. (f.e.a.r. being the exception)

Those are the same people who don't want fighters to be 3D and still say SNES and other older consoles had better games then today. Nostalgia at its worst.

I'd imagine some of the people complaining about it not being like the original is just unhappy with seeing an old franchise turned into a generic shooter. Haven't seen enough of this new one to determine just how generic and uninteresting it'll be, but people should be allowed to be skeptical.

I bet when Deus Ex: HR came out they were like "THOSE SONS OF BITCHES!" as this game really is just exactly that only with what I'll assume is a far less RPG focussed nature.

Seems like the ideas are good enough to hold it's own as a futuristic shooter, although would be piss easy to just hack nearly everything and make the game a breeze. Doesn't help that the hacking stuff is actually neat too, just makes me want to use it more at the detriment of a challenge.

It looks a little janky, and the framerate seems a little choppy to me. That could be a real deal breaker.

Nope. The video was pretty boring. With all the talk about how good the game was looking I was expecting much more than this.

This has some Ghost in the Shell vibe to it with the hacking of guys and such. Looking forward to this.

It's Starbreeze so I will buy this just because of that. ;) Never let me down.

Yeh, that didn't make any sense to me either. Hopefully that's not indicative of the rest of the game.

I didn't even know there was another syndicate until the original trailer for this. I can't say I really care either because this one looks pretty damn awesome.

I can't say I know much about the original, but this seems like it could actually be good :o

I have confidence in this because of StarBreeze but this walkthrough was pretty boring. It was pretty linear and didn't really show anything special. I like the idea of breaching but it seems almost too easy if that makes sense. I'd prefer it if there were some risk to doing it. I wanna see something where by you control that person. I know it's been done before and it's novel but it hasn't really been done particularly well(aside from Ghost Trick).

In the future, Asians are the enemy...again!

That's a good sign considering that Ghost in the Shell was a source of inspiration for the series. There's even a clip of the movie in one of the older games.

Looks really good, slightly similar to Deus Ex in some respects visually but looks sweet overall.
