Darn you movie pitch! Watching this makes me disappointed instead of excited now. All i can think is "wow...Mortal Kombat again huh?"  I really want that crazy movie, it just looks much more interesting.

People get over yourselves. Disturbed and Mortal Kombat are a perfect fit. If you don't think so I think you are imagining the tone of Mortal Kombat to be a little too serious.

At first I thought it was pretty weak for them to use Disturbed in their trailer, but then the chorus kicked in. Heh.

I kind of mega-loathe Disturbed, but it's really not anything offensively bad. It's a trailer for a goddamn Mortal Kombat game in 2010, guys. The people who the name Mortal Kombat is going to appeal to are already going to buy this game, and the crowd who is going to enjoy this kind of music AND enjoy video games, is probably going to enjoy punching people until they gib.
 
This is a lot like those Mass Effect 2 trailers everyone pissed and moaned about, and you saw how THAT turned out.
