This game is a great successor to Persona 4, and makes a lot of improvements on the original; but if you're not a fan of the first game, you may not get as much enjoyment out of it.
3 seconds in, and it still wasn't clear to me wether you were supposed to click on Chie, or the word PUNT. So that was kind of confusing. I feel like this game wouldn't be a great start for anyone new to the genre. 
If you've been keeping up with things online, then you'll allready know about some of the glitches that were left in the game. I didn't find any of this to be a huge game-breaking problem. Infact- call me crazy, but I'd call that a specific kind of janky-ness that you totally want a D.I.Y game to have. But maybe that's just me.
It seems like a fun game overall, but nothing I haven't seen before.
Also the framerate suffers in the more action-heavy sections of the campaign.

Yeah, Gerstmannsoft should really polish their game up a bit and tighten up their graphics next time.

I wasn't very attached to the characters, but the production values were beyond incredible. The gameplay was intuitive and the sound had a great 8-bit retro kind of vibe to it.  
 
The quick time events didn't interrupt the action at all, they enhanced it. Heavy Rain could learn a thing or two from this game.

I enjoyed the game's simple, yet engaging gameplay.  It's presentation was mixed, but the energizing musical score was definitely a highlight.  The noticeable bug in the game is a major concern.  However, if you enjoy kicking tanks and Japanese girls in short skirts, Galactic Punt should scratch your itch until bigger titles are released this Summer.

Just how bad is Jeff's Punt Game? It's as bad as your mind will allow you to comprehend. It is so disturbingly bad that even its budget price tag seems like a slap in the face. It really makes you wonder if the company that put out this dreck even took so much as a half minute to glance at the game that it was releasing. The game's readme file does assert that the game was thoroughly tested on various DS's, but the end result seems to suggest otherwise. The fact is, even if you tried, you couldn't play Jeff's Punt Game the way it was seemingly intended to be played, and even if you could, you wouldn't want to.

Anyway, the fact that this game's got a ton of bugs and the whole "so bad, it's good" thing going on, I give this game an 11 out of 10. Truly inspiring work, Jeff. I hope to see sequels to this game in the near future. Kudos.

A fun interactive experience that proves even franchise spin-offs can be well thought out. A breath of fresh air in the US market.

the gameplay to me was revolutionary, they characters where fairly represented( women have equal rights) and the graphics is statement to the world saying "HEY, life isnt about looking pretty, its about CHANCE and saying AHA when it comes up". 
Overall my only complaint was the title. If i could make a suggestion. I would have it changed to something like "tap that ass" since you need to tap on the screen to kick some ass.  
Final notes, if Giantbomb 2 is anything like punt game, we are in for a treat.

WOW, polarized opinions abound.

Combines the best moments of Persona 4 with intuitive controls opening it up to a casual audience. However could use some more appropriate audio. 8/10.
