Awesome and I was just about to get one. I'll wait till this hits America.
Wii

The Nintendo Wii is a home video game console released on November 19, 2006. The Wii's main selling point was the innovative use of motion controls that its signature Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers allowed for. It became the best selling home console of its respective generation of hardware.
IT'S BACK! IT'S BLACK! IT PRINTS MONEY!
Cool but I would be all over a Silver Wii, but this looks sexy though. I like my White Wii because it has blone hair...I mean it goes well with my 360.
Also, does anyone here play their Wii regularly? I play my PS3 and 360 more, but my Wii has Tiger 10 now and I think thats the only game I will have in there for a long while....
Wow that looks sexy. Too bad it's still a Wii.
Also: decalgirl.com has been way ahead of them for a while, although this one looks much nicer.
" I have my 2 Wii quota and as much as I would love a coloured one - not going to happen. 4 Wiimotes mean no new wiimotes either. "What if one were to broke.. say you waggled it too much and one flew out the window?
And as someone who doesn't own a Wii, that looks great. Love the blue against the black.. ain't gonna get one though.
everything looks better in black. First the 360 and now the wii.
Too bad it won't change the shittiness of the shitty games.
Eh I have a PS3 and 360 in both my office and living room. Might as well get this thing to put in my living room and bring the crappy one in here.
I'm really torn here. I got rid of my original, launch-day Wii last year. It hadn't seen much use for about 9 months, so it wasn't really missed.
Now the black one's coming out. It does look really nice, will be available on Saturday and I can afford to pick one up easily enough. I can't decide if I want one because it's the new model, or if I actually want to play it. Aside from Sports Resort there hasn't been anything I can think of on the Wii to get excited about. And there's no black Wii Motion Plus, so that'd look kind of clunky.
What to do....what to do....?
You forget this and move on. It was easy for you to forget before, this will be easy too. I mean, you can always go to a friend for Wii Sports Resort, you're seemingly clueless about the rest of its library, so you can't miss what you don't know, just like you didn't attempt to use it in the past. Problem solved, money in hand. Or, you inform yourself of what's available and what's coming, you get a Wii, and expand your gaming horizons, as long as you can afford and are willing to do so. That works too. It's up to you, nobody can really compel you better than your desires and habits.
Thanks for that link of "promising titles." Some look quite good, and may tempt me back into Wii gaming. I'll hold off until more of them are out and see what the reviews are like. For right now I'm going to hold off.
no plans to release in America.
" http://www.gamedaily.com/articles/news/black-nintendo-wii-how-you-like-me-now/no plans to release in America. "That is irrelevant as it is inevitable that colours, including and other than black, will be available sooner rather than later.
" I would get a new Wii Drew, if I were you. "I suspect I will, eventually. For now, though, I'll be holding off. The biggest draws on the list of upcoming titles are:
Another Code R - I really liked Another Code and Hotel Dusk on DS
Wii Sports Resort - got to have something to play with others, right?
Rabbids Go Home - I love the characters and would like to see their non-minigame debut
Other that that, I'll bide my time and see what else is coming along.
Thanks for the input and advice, guys.

1.the thread is about orgasming over the black Wii.
2.It has been confirmed nintendo has no plans to release it in america.
3. a good portion of the populace of this thread are from america.
We have no signs of a colored Wii system being released in America its really something that only goes over well In japan were they try their best to own the different versions of a thing.
If this and the new dragon quest game come out on the wii then its pretty much never going to be outsold by the ps3 or x box

Really? Weird, because last weekend, when the black Wii was launched alongside Monster Hunter 3, the sales increased to over 90,000 for the week, while before that the usual sales were 20,000 a week on average, versus the PlayStation 3's 10,000 average. People are still buying, new colors or not, but this weekend sure as hell brought a hefty boost to the platform, and next week's numbers will probably show a more significant jump as they won't merely show the first two days of the launch anymore, but instead a full week with it in the market." @Al3xand3r: But every man woman and child already has a wii, this won't sell unless someone wants two. The future? What? How about just the past then? I said it was launched last weekend, this is an old thread you chose to revive with your doubts.
The Wii sells around 20,000 units weekly in Japan. Fact. The Wii sold over 70,000 extra units the weekend of the black Wii's launch. Fact. Doing the math tells that no, not everyone has bought a Wii already, otherwise it wouldn't keep selling like this. After all, it may be ahead of the PS360, but it's behind the PS2 and the handhelds, so there's room for more purchases, as long as Nintendo can keep people interested, like they have.
oh mans! but i am console hungry since my 360 broke for good. all i have is a ps2 and laptop. and now maybe a black wii! :D
" @Al3xand3r: The Wii sells like candy anyways. I dont think that 30 year old soccer moms are gonna buy their kids another color. "So, "everyone has one and it won't sell", and now, it "sells like candy anyway"... That's a little contradicting but sure, whatever...
